<shudder> ahh, anyone know why zend framework won't load two classes with same filename but with different classnames?
<shudder> it's about models
<shudder> i have Dashboard.php models in my modules
<shudder> but they are all prefixed
<shudder> with the module name
<shudder> zend framework loads the first model but not the second
<Booster> uh... how can two files be named the same? unless you mean Foo/Dashboard.php and Baz/Dashboard.php
<shudder> Booster: yes
<shudder> "i have Dashboard.php models in my modules"
<shudder> statistics/models/Dashboard.php
<shudder> pages/models/Dashboard.php
<shudder> and in statistics it's class Statistics_Dashboard
<shudder> the same in pages
<Booster> what are you using to "load" the models? Xend_Controller_Action_Helper_ModelLoader?
<shudder> no

<shudder> i just add the models directory in the include path
<Booster> so you're doing require_once 'Dashboard.php' and expecting it to load both file?
<shudder> no i have Zend_Loader::registerAutoload()
<shudder> i don't include anything, just accessing the class and it's loaded automatically
<Booster> Zend_Loader expects Statistics/Dashboard.php => Statistics_Dashboard.php and Pages/Dashboard.php => Pages_Dashboard not /pages/models/Dashboard.php => Pages_Dashboard
<shudder> Booster: that is not really true. if you add models in the include path it will load the models classes also
<shudder> it's working but both models have same filenames and this is causing the problem i guess
<shudder> maybe it finds the first dashboard.php and tries to find the class in it
<shudder> i should inspect Zend's source
<norm2782> shudder and Booster, don't you guys ever sleep? O_O
<Booster> norm2782, occasionally.
