What Is a Hertz? A Simple Guide to Frequency (Hz)When people mention 7.83 Hz, 432 Hz or 528 Hz, they are using the same unit: the hertz. What a hertz isOne hertz (Hz) means one cycle per second. The name comes from Heinrich Hertz, the German physicist who demonstrated electromagnetic waves in the 1880s. 1 kHz equals 1,000 Hz.Everyday examples- About 1 Hz: a slow resting heartbeat (around 60 beats per minute).- 7.83 Hz: the fundamental Schumann resonance — an extremely low-frequency electromagnetic wave between the Earth's surface and the ionosphere.- 50 Hz or 60 Hz: household mains electricity (Europe / North America).- 440 Hz: the A used to tune most modern instruments.- Around 20,000 Hz: the upper end of hearing for many young people. What you can hear — and what you cannotHuman hearing is roughly 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz. Below that range is infrasound. 7.83 Hz sits well below hearing, so it cannot be played as a tone on a speaker; a generator emits it silently through coils. Tones such as 432 Hz or 528 Hz are audible: they can go through a 3.5 mm jack into a speaker or earphones.Sound waves and electromagnetic wavesA sound wave is air vibrating. An electromagnetic wave (radio, light, the Schumann resonance) does not need air. Both are counted in hertz.Choosing a frequency on a keypadA dedicated generator lets you type the number you want. The Sacred Frequency Generator: Schumann 7.83 · 432 · 528 Hz covers 0.01 Hz to 100,000 Hz. Type the value and press OK. The K key enters thousands (for example 1, 0, K, OK = 10,000 Hz). The board starts on 7.83 Hz as soon as it is powered by USB.Read more: https://sacredfrequencygenerator.com/what-is-a-hertz/Chakra frequencies: https://sacredfrequencygenerator.com/chakra-frequencies/Product page: https://sacredfrequencygenerator.com/product/sacred-frequency-generator/Shipping and returns: https://sacredfrequencygenerator.com/shipping-returns/Earth's frequency, at home.
