im trying to do localhost/catalog/1234

im using the following rewrite rule

Options +FollowSymlinks
RewriteEngine On
RewriteRule ^catalog/(.+)/(.+) catalog.php?section=$1&file=$2 [nc]


and im getting the error in apache

Not Found

The requested URL /catalog/1234 was not found on this server.

im assuming my rewrite rule is wrong but i got it from a tutorial

any ideas?!?
