ISDN BRI Passthrough to existing PBX
Hi all...

I have a setup with a Junghanns OctoBRI card, I have the system configured, spans 1-4 (Zap g0) to TE taking the calls from the ISDN, and spans 5-8 (Zap g1) linking to an existing Samsung PBX.

What is the best way of configuring Trixbox/AAH to go through its routing and pass calls from ISDN to the conventional PBX and vice versa?

TIA

Hi everibody,

i'm try to use a quadbri card connected to a pbx and i come to this configuration
mainly from junghanns and using bri-stuff .

# /etc/asterisk/zapata.conf ###

context=isdn-incoming
group=1
signalling = bri_cpe
channel => 1-2
channel => 4-5

context=pbx-incoming
overlapdial=yes
group=2
signalling = bri_net
channel => 7-8
channel => 10-11

# /etc/asterisk/extensions.conf ###

[isdn-incoming]
exten => _X.,1,Dial(ZAP/g2/${EXTEN:1},60)
exten => _X.,2,Hangup

[pbx-incoming]
exten => _X.,1,Dial(ZAP/g1/${EXTEN},60)
exten => _X.,2,DigitTimeout(3)
exten => _X.,3,Hangup
; if called is busy
exten => _X.,102,Playtones(busy)
exten => _X.,103,Wait(10)
exten => _X.,104,Hangup
; if channels in use or down
exten => _X.,202,Playtones(congestion)
exten => _X.,203,Wait(10)
exten => _X.,204,Hangup
; to sip phone
exten => _5.,1,Dial(SIP/${EXTEN:1},60)
exten => _5.,2,DigitTimeout(3)
exten => _5.,3,Hangup

# /etc/asterisk/extensions_additiona l.conf ###

[outbound-allroutes]
include => outbound-allroutes-custom
include => outrt-001-Isdn
include => outrt-002-Pbx-Test

[outrt-001-Isdn]
include => outrt-001-Isdn-custom
exten => _0.,1,Macro(dialout-trunk,1,${EXTE N:1},)
exten => _0.,2,Macro(outisbusy) ; No available circuits

[outrt-002-Pbx-Test]
include => outrt-002-Pbx-Test-custom
exten => _50.,1,Macro(dialout-trunk,2,${EXT EN:2},)
exten => _50.,2,Macro(outisbusy) ; No available circuits

My question are ... a lot .... basically with the GUI its possible to route
between zap g1 and g2 bidirectionally ?

1 - i want to insert the above config on AMP or FreePbx (lastest version)
2 - where to place it , eg custom dialplan
3 - can i use existing context
4 - can i use existing macros
5 - any suggestions / hints ?
6 - possible use of "from-did-direct"
Thanks ,

pat98usb

PS Anyone to explain like a block diagram the logic of the context that Trixbox/AAH use ?
