<dc786> I tried switching my 2-radio /etc/config/wireless from doing sta on wifi0 and ap on wifi1 to doing ap first
<dc786> now, instead of no wpa_supplicant for the sta, I have no hostapd for the ap
<dc786> maybe that'll help you see what's wrong in the scripts, I think it must not be in madwifi.sh, maybe it's in /sbin/wifi ??
<dc786> whichever daemon gets ath0 doesn't get run
<dc786> the one that gets ath1 does run
<dc786> maybe with more than two radios, it would only be the last one that runs its daemon
<dc786> yet the /var/run .conf files do both get set up, and now that I've switched, there are two each
<dc786> {hostapd,wpa_supplicant}-ath{0,1}.conf
<dc786> 4 files total
