Facts:
-	You cannot issue an N Warning or Letter for not attending an excursion.
(“Lack of Participation and Attendance” only relates in the case a student has insufficient class attendance and inadequate participation during the classes that they do attend)
-	Previous excursions for this subject that students failed to attend were not followed up by a Warning. They were held accountable for catching up on the work they missed themselves.
-	You can issue an N Warning or Letter to students who fail to meet course requirements including work given; however, in this case you have prematurely issued an N Warning only to those students who did not attend the excursion.
My opinions that can be substantiated:
This seems more as revenge to those students who failed to attend the excursion and left you accountable by the Museum staff.
-	Because it doesn’t make sense to issue only those who didn’t attend the excursion with a Warning, and giving the rest of the class who did attend the excursion the benefit of the doubt (when in fact we found out on the 19th July that all of students who did attend had parts missing from their booklet).
Your options:
-	Issue a Warning to all students.
-	Issue a Warning to no students.
-	Do nothing and expect a formal complaint to the Director.
