J K Rowling has appeared in an interview with Johnathan Ross, on Friday Night with Johnathan Ross, at around 23:20 on Friday 6th July 2007.
A very delightful conversation, especially about the three main cast members.
J K can be quoted in saying that she feels parental for the cast.
She also feels that keeping the film British has steered it in a way she likes, and differently from how it could of turned out.
She refused to say what the last word for the 7th book was, however, she confirmed that the last word was no 'scar' even though it had been for quite some time.
Rowling did hint that there is a very sad ending, and that she cried herself.
Unfortunately, she believes that it is unlikely that she may right another book, but also refuses to write off any possibility.
They touched briefly on the topics of the Florida Harry Potter theme park, and the wonderful work that Jo has done to raise money for charity.
