I am a fan of Ragnarok online and I was disturbed to find that it does
not support platforms like Linux, Mac osx, or BSD. I believe I can
help with this situation. I would like to receive permission and a
specification of the formats required to load the Ragnarok Online
media. I would do this as a hobby, free of charge, in hopes of
creating a client. Of course, I would not do this without permission
from Gravity.
I would like to use OpenGL, the D programming Language, and the GNU
General Public License V2.
Since Gravity makes money on subscriptions rather than by selling
copies of the client, I imagine that this would not inconvenience you,
and perhaps help you by providing a means of reaching the untapped
market.
I realize that this will likely be rejected, but I am willing to
negotiate, and would appreciate a reply, even if it is a rejection of
my proposal, thank you.
