user 1: hey sorry about that
self: its no problem
user 1:I was on the phone for a minute there
sefl : perfectly good reason
real life trumps, phone, phone trumps internet, internet trumps letter in the mail
real life being you required to be in a real life conversation face to face with some one. now the exemption to this is jehova wittnesses (sp) who then are trumped by internet
now if you must meet some one some where that trumps all real life if it was planned and the person can't wait. acceptable wait times either way is 5 minutes, acceptable wait times if the person can wait is 10 minutes.
constant interruptions of any of these except for a letter in the mail is considered rude since it is poor planning. a letter can be delayed as much as 2 weeks before replying if you plan to reply. if though that reply is going to be either face to face, internet, or phone it must be done within one weeks time
