I am a fan of Ragnarok online and I was disturbed to find that it does not support platforms like Linux or BSD. I would like to reverse engineer or perhaps receive a spec of the formats required to load the Ragnarok Online media. I would do this as a hobby, free of charge, in hopes of creating a client, of course, I would not do this without permission from Gravity.
I would like to use OpenGL, the D programming Language, and the GNU General Public License V2.
Since Gravity makes money on subscriptions rather than by selling copies of the client, I figure that this would not inconvenience you, and perhaps help you by providing means for the untouched market to play your game.
