This is intended to replace check and make the trials of deciding promos easier. Support count: 3 h-ops
Here is what we do, first of all forget the old, you have set BLANK worlds. Everyone has seen that corrupted by peeps setting the same world over and over again to get there check higher, and to be honest, check doesn't play a huge roll in promo's as of late. Now what we do is replace check with is a rating system. This will be a combination of a few characteristics, mainly princibles that promo's are based off of setting good worlds and having a good attitude. Up to now the ops that give promo's only know how people are while they are on and a few opinions of others. Along with an idea of how many worlds they've set. This all seems very inefficent does it not?
What do I mean? Now with this new rating system evauluating for promo's is all streamed into a simple package. Your overall rating. This streams from a few seperate categories, given different weightings, and is averaged together. This is your overall score which upon reaching set hights, will promo you. This will all be rated and evaluted by a mix of staff reviews and automatic assignments, i.e. the average time your worlds stay set for, how many worlds you've set, your automatic language rating, averages your language and how often it is a problem. This is what the bot decides.
Now for the feedback side of the rating. STAFF not just every day peeps can rate you in certain categories. This may seem open to corruption but it is something that us as a staff will have to get over differences and grudges and give fair ratings. Here is what staff can rate you in proficincy in scouting, i.e. how well you well can you find worlds, rating of how good your worlds are, rating of helpfullness, including assistance to more senior members of staff and scripting, and how well you inforce and follow rules.
Again these will all be compined in a rating system where each positive feedback will add and the negative reveiws will take away. This will all add up into your overall score. Well thats it peeps, I know it sounds complicated and I don't mess with scripting so I don't know how hard it would be. If it turns out that this is too dificult to program, we can try to simplify it a little, or we simply just have this set as the official decision where when you become eligible for a promo after a certain time frame, mabey 2 weeks, a month? We hold a board of reviews where staff decide using this system I have set forth.
