I have been receiving lots of attempted hacks, attacks and port scans from someone using this ISP (bt), their IP was 81.152.81.26 on Thursday Jun 28 23:05:41 2007 GMT. I have also tracked down some botnets being controlled by someone using this IP, same time and date, these botnets are being used to attack various IP's around the world including mine also they are being used to scan systems for open ports and possible vulnerabilities.
This person has control of over 15 thousand infected systems and has been attacking many people with them, my broadband connection has received enough data to saturate the line and cause me to renew my IP several times.
I also have dedicated servers hosted outside of Europe which have also been receiving attacks, ranging from a small 600kb/s to a rather large 14.5gbit/s, these are easily filtered by my providers as they are on multi gbit lines but i've seen quite a few IP's that this person has attacked get nullrouted as the providers cannot filter attacks of this size. I'm not sure who this person is but they need to be stopped, i have contacted federal agents regarding the attacks against my servers hosted in america and i'm sure other people have also.
From what i've seen this person type, i am guessing they are around 16 years old, someone this young shouldn't be allowed to run around on the internet with this much bandwidth as it's costing people money and time. Please do something about this as i don't wish to receive more attempted hacks and attacks from this person.
