Most if not all items in a raid only are valuable to a group of people.
Casters, meelee, tanks, healers or even only one class.
What if you'd make an addon wich would collect all equipment data from all
players in the raid, and only a group of people were eglible to get one item.
You could make the addon highlight the player it thinks should get the item,
but not make it do so automatically. The loot master would then initiate a roll
(are rolls safe? are they always between 1 and 100?) or pick one himself.
You could make the collection of the equipment data safer by making the loot
master inspect everyone in the raid. Make members walk up to the loot master
and ask for an inspect, the loot master would send the message that player X
was listed to the raid loot list and everyone can thus keep a list of who isnt
on the list yet.
