Hello,

I'm trying to boot FreeBSD 6.2 on an old i386 computer (IBM Aptiva 2170: http://www.shopping.com/xPF-IBM-Aptiva-E-2170-2170175, Motherboard is an "Acer V75M", latest bios found in http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/document.do?lndocid=MIGR-4PXNTP ). When it boots it fails on a:

"
CD Loader 1.2

Building the boot loader arguments
Lonking up /BOOT/LOADER... Read Error: 0xbb
Could not find Primary Volume Descriptor
"

I didn't find anything which may help me over internet.

Then I tried to boot using a boot floppy. It worked perfectly, but as I need to redo this task several times, I reckon that Cd-Rom is really faster than the floppy way. So does anyone may help me to know what's wrong and how to solve it please ? =)

Thanks,
Nanar Duff.
