The goal of the operation is to make a rebootstrapping of the BIOS so that this last loses any trace of possible or remttre passwords in a state of operation in the event of planting. That is done by the displacement of a rider of the mother chart. The greatest difficulty is to find this rider. Attention this procedure re-initialized also other parameters of the BIOS. If you made modifications there, these last will be to parameterize again. Stage 1: Open the case of your computer after completely having extinguished it and having disconnected its electric cable. Touch the metal frame of the case in order to discharge to you from the static electricity. Stage 2: Consult the documentation of your mother chart in order to locate the position of the rider allowing to make the rebootstrapping of the BIOS. If you do not have any documentation, seek on your mother chart one of the following inscriptions: CLR BIOS, CLEAR BIOS, CLR CMOS, CLEAR CMOS, RESET BIOS or RESET CMOS. She is in general near the pile button of the mother chart. Note the name of the rider associated with the inscription. In our example, it is about rider JP4. Stage 3: Find on your mother chart the rider of rebootstrapping. It is in general him also near the pile. - If the rider is on a connector with 3 pines, place it at horse on the pine of the medium and the pine not covered initially. (passage of the position pin1-pin2 to pin2-pin3, or conversely). Have patience one second then give the rider in its position of origin (pin1-pin2). - If the rider is on a connector with 2 pines and that it is with horse only on one pine, place it on both, have patience one second then replace it in its position of origin. Stage 4: Replug the electric cable to your case and start your PC. The password disappeared, Bios is RESETTED.
