Ajturtle (AJ) joined the clan already knowing some members. Soon afterwards the clan became large and unfortunately it broke into 3 sections. Untouchable, Aquabilis and ourselves. Most of the members of Untouchables would go on to remark how much they had previously argued with AJ, for whatever reasons. However the clan leader Mnemonic83 (Mne) said he would look after her and protect AJ to the best of hes ability. Then soon came the #experts channel problems by stray visitors spamming and flooding the channel with rude or vulgar or plain nasty remarks, usually about AJ.
Thats a bit of history.
AJ was badgering all of the leads about how she should be a HOP to cover the flamers and any problems we go tin the quiet hrs. This we listened too, so very frequently, but decided against making AJ HOP but to make Lord Keltio and Darkvengence HOPs instead.
This of course angred AJ and she still consistently nagged us until we reluctantly gave in. Lord was doing school work so would be away and this enabled AJ to seize her opportunity and demand she gets HOP. So it was agreed she got it tempory, while Lord was away.
Simultaneously, AJ had now had a fall out with a long standing feind within the clan; Darkvengence (Dark). They had been close friends for a few years and of course tempers and emotions were boiling on both sides. The leads were aware of it, but told them both as long as it didnt interfere with clan, then they were ok to fight away in private, and that if needed the leads and clan would be here to help either or both of them.
There was so many different things all involving AJ that I considered she had to be told to stop it. In my opinion she was setting a bad example and was not acting as I would hope any Expert should.
So I attended a meeting involving the leads and I agreed that she should be formally told off. Nothing more. This was done
However AJ did not either agree, accept or possibly even comprehend what was said to her, and so soon there was various interpretations of this meeting by 3rd parties, who could only have got their information by AJ and her side of events.
At this point I wish to mention, I still considered AJ as a friend, what she did in clan I thought was wrong but she never actually hurt me and I liked her. However, with this in mind I told her she could go off and tell all lher followers, any story she wanted and gain their support and their show of unification and suggest how hard done by she was, and in turn I, and leads would say our side.
Then finally it was learnt that AJ held private message groups and even channels to try and win favour over other members. This was the final straw and so The Leader asked her to leave The Clan.

I am very sorry, but I hope you can understand that we did this out of the clans best interest. Being a leader isn't always easy, and this was most definately one of those days where you wanted to stay in bed.
Ask any question you want here, we will answer them ASAP. Please keep in mind there is always two sides of every story and that we have really investigated thoroughly, and tried to resolve it "peacefully" numerous of times before taking this serious action.
Again, very sorry it had to be like this - she was and still is a true Expert at RS.

Every person in the clan is smart enough to see through a lie. But i agree what aj done was wrong but this is only ONE side of the story. So i cant really say much.

This is all very simple to me. Becoming HOP is something which is not requested for, but one which is naturally earned through commitment to the clan, and having the ability to remain fair and indifferent when difficult issues are raised. May I also add that an HOP needs to be able to remain calm at such times also.
I have heard and seen much on this topic and the simple fact that this promotion was a request is itself an alarm bell ringing in my ear.
I for one back the leads on there/our decision. After all if it wasn't for them, there would be no Experts.

Hi kane!
I fully know it may seem that way, but we really have investigated a LOT and spent countless hours and days on trying to repair it. We have talked to a lot of people and read a lot of logs that was sent to us. We gave her chance after chance to change her behaviour but sadly it never stuck. Amy is a good person, I really like her - but she made too many mistakes that we couldn't keep overlooking.

As a newish hop i have been fortunate to experience the joys of playing and helping, the ops have all been fair, patient and sympathetic. I for one thank them for all their hard work and support for all us Experts. For all new members plz believe they all really do do whats best for the clan.

I like Amy and she will stay on my friends list. I understand why the action was taken but will miss Amy.
There are a few lessons that need to be learned from this episode and I have already shared my thoughts on these with Mne.
Good luck for the future AJTurtle I hope you find what you are looking for..you deserve to be happy
As for Experts, we will continue to do what we do, and we will grow stronger from this.

i know i have only come back but as many people have said the ops have only done what is good for the clan thay are doing a good jod and i know thay will do thing that are right for clan
