spamimal1 say Spam is meat. What animal does it come from? the canimal, of course. | say The canimal is an invertebrate. It has no bones, only a relatively thin metal shell. Newer breeds of canimal can be identified by the interesting "tab" growth on the top of the shell, which is a curious evolutionary divergence considering the fact that any primate can concentrate its attack on the otherwise well-protected canimal at this tab and use it as a point of entry to gain access to the soft flesh within. Having no other defenses or any means of independant movement, this would seem to leave the canimal at a huge disadvantage.
spamimal2 say However, due in part to its large numbers and rapid yet mysterious breeding practices, the canimal is in no danger of extinction in the near or foreseeable future. Indeed, due to its highly unpalitable taste caused by toxins pruduced in its body, the canimal has few natural predators, which are primarilly limited to scavengers such as jackals and crack heads. | say Few but some other predators have been seen to use the canimal as regular prey, and the cause for this in areas where other game is plentiful is currently unknown but under study. One leading theory suggests recessive genetics that activate or deactivate taste receptors on the tongues of these predators that allow them to consume the canimal's spam with few ill effects.
