Slackports

Slackports is a new project that aims to provide a full ports tree,
using contributed and tested SlackBuild's, to facilite your work when
installing/removing/upgrading new packages.
All that we use are: GNU Make and SlackBuild's (Bash script).
It download, check md5 of the source, configure, compile, create the package,
install or remove. Let me show some examples.
Basic operations from the slackports root directory.
# cd /usr/slackports
# make
Usage: make search or make viewchanges
#
# make search
Usage: make search name=<package name>
# make search name=nagios
==> net-mgmt/nagios
==> net-mgmt/nagios-plugins

# make viewchanges
