I work at a school/community college. We have over 150 machines on campus. We want to use sarge on most of them. I have downloaded the two dvd iso and mounted them on our main server. I then point all the workstations to the server to download and install the packages.
Now, there are many security releases and other packages from time to time. During installation, if there is a newer security release, the installation does not go to my server but directly to debians mirrors. What I want to do is set up a synced copy of debian official mirrors. I want to have an up-to-date mirror /repository of stable/unstable and testing and also security releases that is constantly synced with official debian sources so that the workstations do not keep going over the net and downloading packages all the time. Is there an easy way to do this?
