<Boletus> Nah.
<Boletus> People are overreacting, as always.
<Paine> Someone just broke wind is all?
<Boletus> KEEP FOLDING THEM FOIL HATS!
<Boletus> Hehe.
<Paine> Boletus: you should've seen #oink during the downtime
<Paine> all the nubbies thought I was an RIAA rep :P
<StArSeEd> nothing in the URL causing it.. Opera still acts the same, weird messages but the &search= operator disappears on page 2+ of results (standard search=Lossless w/genres chosen)
<StArSeEd> er, Opera doesn't have the operator disappearing, it stays there
<StArSeEd> IE7, goes byebye
<StArSeEd> nevermind, now it works
<StArSeEd> crisis averted, on to daily FLAC perusal
StArSeEd has quit IRC (Quit: woohoo)
<Boletus> Heh.
<Boletus> I was gonna tell him about Advanced Search.

<Oinkylicious> Boletus: tell us in future ;)
<Boletus> Oinkylicious, instead of searching for "lossless", you can use this thing called Advanced Search.
<Boletus> With it, you can search for all lossless formats (or just FLAC) in a much easier manner.
<Oinkylicious> i know that, but the whole reason for this stupid downtime was because of idiots who don't
<Oinkylicious> and, there was a bug in paging.
<Boletus> Those idiots.

<gleam> be nice if the advanced search page had a "Update Last Browse Time" link on it
<Paine> Oinkylicious: erm, a huge portion of the oldest torrents on the site are now gone
<gleam> consider it a feature request :)
<Oinkylicious> Paine: i know
<Oinkylicious> 3,500 ish
<Paine> yeah, good job for stopping the delete script so soon
<gleam> mysql table crash?
<Paine> all the snatches were at 0, so everything older than 28 days was going poof, gleam
<gleam> or sql injection? heh
<Oinkylicious> neither
<gleam> well, good
<Oinkylicious> our memory table used for offloading numeric values from the torrents table wasn't properly populated
<Oinkylicious> and the update was using a left join rather than inner join
<gleam> oops :)
<Oinkylicious> so when the update came, it was updating from a blank table to a full table, and wiped it.
<gleam> yep
<sidviciousbh> got any backups?
<Paine> Can the old torrents be restored?
<Paine> sidviciousbh: daily backups at 8am GMT \o/
<Oinkylicious> the old backups _can_ be restored, but probably won't be
<Oinkylicious> it's too much hassle.
<Paine> so should we start reuploading?
