You are to work through the following two tutorials on persistence with Derby.
Improve persistence with Apache Derby and iBATIS. The source code is here.
Improve persistence with Apache Derby and iBATIS, Part 2 . The sample code is here and the petstore code here.
Make sure you work through all aspects of the tutorials. You may have to download and install software. Sample code is provided above.
Submit to coursenet screen shots of your work in a zip file with a 2 to 3 page paper describing the project and how well the PetStore sample project seems to work. Discuss future applications of this approach to persistence with Derby.
