The course grades have been posted on the SIS. They should be available sometime today.
Highlights of the course and the final exam
==================================
1). Very few students showed a significant improvement on the final exam but sadly there were some who continued a downward trend and I can say this was DEFINITELY NOT your best show.
2). The average on the final exam was 59 out of 100.
3). The highest on the final exam was 92 out of 100 (by Kevin Miller) followed by good performances by Nathaniel, and Tsung Yu)
4). In the overall course I can say:
4a). Tess Mandell, Robert Alexander and Tsung-Han Yu's performances throughout the course were the most spectacular ones. Not only in terms of scores,
their approach to problems was quite original and more methodical and mature than any students at their level.
4c). There were also some good performances throughout the quarter by (in random order)
Nathaniel, Ankur, Tom S., Phillip and Jesse
Congratulations to all of you.
5). There were some very surprisingly good improvements on the finals on part of some students and I have rewarded them accordingly.
It was nice to have all of you as my students and I wish you good luck throughout your careers.
Have a nice vacation and always work hard to get the best out of you.
