Dion says:

Jack - www.fusedhosting.net :: www.simpleirc.com says:
Well
Jack - www.fusedhosting.net :: www.simpleirc.com says:
I slightly uninformed
Jack - www.fusedhosting.net :: www.simpleirc.com says:
As i trust ash enough to know what hes doing :P
ash - www.fusedhosting.net says:
i have a brain, that counts :P
ash - www.fusedhosting.net says:
ok heres what ive come up with so far
ash - www.fusedhosting.net says:
FusedHosting will host MD without any cost to you, it will be completely in our care. in exchange we will offer you a % of the donations, it will take time to get it flowing as we must advertise, you can understand that Dion.. You will not need to update the code, as we have 4-5 experianced php coders who are willing to spend time into security, and special features. We will run, maintain and
ash - www.fusedhosting.net says:
control the game, however, as soul owner you will have access to everything we have access to, except a few things which im sure jack will agree to later on. As the soul coder and owner of MD, we cannot, and will not missuse the trust. If we bind it in contract it will take a few days, if not weeks to decide on a proper contract.. Once agreed we will start our end of the bargain, you will recive
ash - www.fusedhosting.net says:
like i said, % of donations (once game flows) and we will recievie another income of users to irc, since we have the knowledge to bring them into the irc channel.
ash - www.fusedhosting.net says:
All in all, it is a win win situation, altho, clearly i am only just speaking on behalf of myself as part of fusedhosting, we will consult the other owner and admins, then if u choose to accept we will set up a contract that will bind, it may also be on a trial if need be.
ash - www.fusedhosting.net says:
god, so much typing
ash - www.fusedhosting.net says:
v.v
Jack - www.fusedhosting.net :: www.simpleirc.com says:
lol
Jack - www.fusedhosting.net :: www.simpleirc.com says:

Jack - www.fusedhosting.net :: www.simpleirc.com says:
well theres a few things not covered
ash - www.fusedhosting.net says:
your more then welcome to add :)
Jack - www.fusedhosting.net :: www.simpleirc.com says:
but not important, can talk about them when a more finalised plan has been agreed upon
Jack - www.fusedhosting.net :: www.simpleirc.com says:
well dion
Jack - www.fusedhosting.net :: www.simpleirc.com says:
i'd like to know your opinions
Dion says:
at first glance it looks like a fine plan
ash - www.fusedhosting.net says:
no i wont have sex with ur dog D
ash - www.fusedhosting.net says:
gosh
ash - www.fusedhosting.net says:
>.>
Jack - www.fusedhosting.net :: www.simpleirc.com says:
well theres something that we must discuss
Jack - www.fusedhosting.net :: www.simpleirc.com says:
and thats ownership
Jack - www.fusedhosting.net :: www.simpleirc.com says:
and contract
Dion says:
although I would like to get some more information about the international difficulties we might encounter
Jack - www.fusedhosting.net :: www.simpleirc.com says:
we have admins and owners
Dion says:
which indeed includes both points
Jack - www.fusedhosting.net :: www.simpleirc.com says:
in uk, au, nl and us
Jack - www.fusedhosting.net :: www.simpleirc.com says:
we just about cover most time zones
Jack - www.fusedhosting.net :: www.simpleirc.com says:
im always contactable by email by day, and my phone via night (only for ash and another admin :P)
Dion says:
yea, but I'm sure that isn't a problem.. ash knows enough trustable people in those four countries
ash - www.fusedhosting.net says:
cause im sexy? :P
ash - www.fusedhosting.net says:
yea
ash - www.fusedhosting.net says:
well
Jack - www.fusedhosting.net :: www.simpleirc.com says:

Jack - www.fusedhosting.net :: www.simpleirc.com says:
anyway, moving on I think :P
Jack - www.fusedhosting.net :: www.simpleirc.com says:
Dion onto the ownership
Jack - www.fusedhosting.net :: www.simpleirc.com says:
part of the contract will be that no one can reproduce the code, sell the domain, or advertisements or any other source of income, without 100% consent of the other admins
Jack - www.fusedhosting.net :: www.simpleirc.com says:
something i have in all my teams
Jack - www.fusedhosting.net :: www.simpleirc.com says:
is trust and being informed
Jack - www.fusedhosting.net :: www.simpleirc.com says:
no one is to be uninformed of exact details of what is happening and what will happen
Dion says:
yea that is a major point
Jack - www.fusedhosting.net :: www.simpleirc.com says:
is there any points or questions you want to ask?
Jack - www.fusedhosting.net :: www.simpleirc.com says:
im pretty open :P
Jack - www.fusedhosting.net :: www.simpleirc.com says:
kinda: ask me anything :P
Dion says:
I'll just keep it in mind for now, just printing the most part of this convo (if you agree)
and I'll start winning some information about the thing
ash - www.fusedhosting.net says:
no problem
ash - www.fusedhosting.net says:

Jack - www.fusedhosting.net :: www.simpleirc.com says:

Jack - www.fusedhosting.net :: www.simpleirc.com says:
yep :P
Jack - www.fusedhosting.net :: www.simpleirc.com says:
now onto business things
Jack - www.fusedhosting.net :: www.simpleirc.com says:
:P
Jack - www.fusedhosting.net :: www.simpleirc.com says:
the domain and the name chosen
Jack - www.fusedhosting.net :: www.simpleirc.com says:
will be owned by my team
Jack - www.fusedhosting.net :: www.simpleirc.com says:
other entities other than the 'x' members of the team
Jack - www.fusedhosting.net :: www.simpleirc.com says:
cannot claim it to be theres
Jack - www.fusedhosting.net :: www.simpleirc.com says:
but
Jack - www.fusedhosting.net :: www.simpleirc.com says:
that does not mean we can just sell it
Jack - www.fusedhosting.net :: www.simpleirc.com says:
or reproduce the domain to something that you disagree with
Jack - www.fusedhosting.net :: www.simpleirc.com says:
if you get what i mean
Jack - www.fusedhosting.net :: www.simpleirc.com says:
slightly confusing I know lol
Jack - www.fusedhosting.net :: www.simpleirc.com says:
another thing, no one is above the other
Jack - www.fusedhosting.net :: www.simpleirc.com says:
we cannot demand something of another admin, we are equals
Jack - www.fusedhosting.net :: www.simpleirc.com says:
fair and square
Jack - www.fusedhosting.net :: www.simpleirc.com says:
from what i gather, please correct me if i'm wrong. we will all own a % of the site?
Dion says:
yea that is what I got out of it indeed, although that doesn't mean that all the work will be split between the owners equally
Jack - www.fusedhosting.net :: www.simpleirc.com says:
well, we will probably be 2 entities
Jack - www.fusedhosting.net :: www.simpleirc.com says:
taking a %
Jack - www.fusedhosting.net :: www.simpleirc.com says:
me, ash and our admins
Jack - www.fusedhosting.net :: www.simpleirc.com says:
will take the % and then more than likely discuss between us whats to happen
Jack - www.fusedhosting.net :: www.simpleirc.com says:
no doubt it'll go straight back into the server
Jack - www.fusedhosting.net :: www.simpleirc.com says:
rather than into anyones pocket
ash - www.fusedhosting.net says:
we dont profit for ourselves, only for our business.
Jack - www.fusedhosting.net :: www.simpleirc.com says:
exactly
Dion says:
and the other entity?
Jack - www.fusedhosting.net :: www.simpleirc.com says:
anyway dion, I want to know more about your views, what you want to happen, what you expect to happen and how you want it to work. There is nothing more that I value than wanting to know what others think, its alright someone coming in and saying this is this and that is that but I feel, I believe, that people should feel a part of it, I'd hate you, or another admin, to feel that you didn't have a say
Jack - www.fusedhosting.net :: www.simpleirc.com says:
its hard to explain :P
Jack - www.fusedhosting.net :: www.simpleirc.com says:
I value your opinion, I suppose, in short.
Dion says:
I know what you mean, although you haven't really said what entities there are and in which I'll be and what you expect from me
Jack - www.fusedhosting.net :: www.simpleirc.com says:
okay well
ash - www.fusedhosting.net says:
do you midn if i take this Jack?
Jack - www.fusedhosting.net :: www.simpleirc.com says:
fire away cowboy
ash - www.fusedhosting.net says:
Dion, we will not be stripping you of your hard work, nor the time you have spent into MD, its a good basic game which if played correctly a player can really pwn. You will be what i call the soul owner, your name will be down as the coder/owner, but Jacks team will be known as the admins, and co owners due to use owning the server and possibly the domain if we are going to rename it. You will be
ash - www.fusedhosting.net says:
consulted when we rename the game, we wont rename it without you liking the name. however, as we are running the server, you will not be able to access some of the info we have, u are free to view the code, and w/e else.. but via the server we will talk about that more if u decide to continue
ash - www.fusedhosting.net says:
to put it plain and simple
ash - www.fusedhosting.net says:
we expect from you - support if and when we need it, your thoughts, and ideas. you wil be the soul entity, but however, since we will be contorlling the game and updating security measures, we will be a bit more.. I will NOt strip you of your rights tho, its your game, we will just run and control it.
Jack - www.fusedhosting.net :: www.simpleirc.com says:
yes
ash - www.fusedhosting.net says:
i think it covers it, im not sure.. i start ot blab alot, ask any questions if needed.
Jack - www.fusedhosting.net :: www.simpleirc.com says:
lol
