Windows XP Hosts file not directing properly

I have a server with two virtual servers on it. Both are working correctly from outside my network, as incoming traffic is directed to the proper directories. I have my hosts file in winxp set up to correctly resolve to the first virtual server (192.168.62.50). However, the second virtual server is a sub directory under the first (ie 192.168.62.50/foo_bar), and nothing I've tried has allowed the host file to redirect properly to that sub directory.

I've searched the apacheforums and Google and I haven't found anything describing my situation, so my question is what is the proper format for the hosts file?

It is currently:
Code:

127.0.0.1 localhost
192.168.62.50 hallowed.sytes.net
192.168.62.50 foo_bar.sytes.net

However, they both redirect to the root directory /home/httpd/html/

I've tried
Code:

127.0.0.1 localhost
192.168.62.50 hallowed.sytes.net
192.168.62.50/foo_bar/ foo_bar.sytes.net

but it just simply doesn't work.

Neither seems to work, lol what am I doing wrong? I know it's probably something stupid, but for the life of me, I just can't seem to make it work.
