Mine

Greetings there. I'm using the open-source drivers with an ATI 9600XT. I installed Beryl, but when I run it, I'll get the effects and stuff, but my screen won't redraw. If I type in the terminal, for example, the text will not appear. And the menus will open but when I browse through their entries they won't get highlighted. I had this problem in the past, but with the fglrx drivers, and I just upgraded them. Now that I'm using the open-source drivers how do I fix it? :/
