the hardware we use for cre2duo is brand new , even the case and psu are brand new
the possibility of bad hardware is almost 0 and even so we have swaped the ram in your server
from what I am seeing you dont really have experiencing in managing a server. And if you thing cent os 4.4 is old you have to know that windows 2003 server is just as old.
we have hunderds of servers exaclty like yours running centos/fedora and users are reporting absolutely no issues with it.
as far as the reinstall goes, this is to prevent abuse like in your case.
before picking an os you have to do your research, it is not our fault that someone gave you a bad advice.
