Introduction

In this essay the different ways of reprogramming TinyOS and Contiki will be
compared, and the different approaches to programming abstractions will be
discussed. There are a lot of different ways of reprogramming TinyOS and we
will be comparing some of them and also the reprogramming method in Contiki.
The different approaches to programming abstractions in the two operating
systems, i.e., the event based model versus the threaded approach, will be
discussed.
