It was just another rainy day lazing around the house with nothing to do but watch TV. The clouds had gathered over the blue sky like a curtain over a window, and there was no sun to swim under. The pool, as attractive as it looked with a bright blue sparkling colour was icy cold and no where near suitable to swim in. just a day to watch TV. As Tommy and I sat in front of the goggle box it displayed dull images of opera talking to an ex Ku Klux Klan member, or fuzzy little dinosaurs buzzing around in Barnie the Dinosaur. Msn was blank except for the odd random whom Id met in random conversations. IT really was a dull day. Then came on The Bold and the Beautiful.
It was another episode of cheesy and terrible acting. Sighed Tommy.
Except something was different. So noticeable, my cat miggums looked up. There was some decent acting! Except it was all in black and white! Such a nice surprise destroyed by the black and white. What a shame! We were so entertained by the show, that we didnt notice the colour of the room, or the colour of the outside changing to a dull shade of black and white. As the surprisingly fantastic acting came to an end, we looked up. And were shocked. Everything was black and white. It was clear. Tommy and I had to set off on an adventure to turn the world colour again.
So Tommy and I thought. What could possibly turn the world colour? And then it hit us. A RAINBOW! How to make a rainbow? Tommy said some rain. That wasnt original enough for me. Maybe a leprechaun! That was it! A short little Irish-man chachachahchacha. Where would I find a leprechaun? For the rest of the day, thats what I thought about. It hit me (its starting to hurt being hit all the time) I recon we could find one in east Uzbekistan under a 4 leaf clover Says I. So we headed off.
On our trip to East Uzbekistan, Tommy and I look through books filled with different types of four leafed clovers. There were different coloured ones, which were extremely hard to distinguish in the dull back and white shades of the world. As we were driving though South Mexico in a broken old bus, the main town we passed looked like a cheesy 1950s movie, with some Mexican cowbows about to draw in a duel. Rather funny ol Tommy and I thought. After 5 months, 3 weeks, 23 days, 55 hours, 100 Minutes, 73 seconds and 1004 long milliseconds, we finally made it to east Uzbekistan. A dusty old sight (and a boring one in the black and white) but we made it! Straight away, we started picking around the billions of clovers for the ones with an amazing mutation. AN EXTRA LEAF!
