I am writing to you to notify you that I will be leaving my position as a Web Engineer at MIPS Computation effective Monday, May 28th, 2007.
I had not expected to leave MIPS at this time, but circumstances in my personal life have left me no choice. I feel it is only fair to have notified you of my decision as soon as possible upon having finalized it.
I greatly appreciate the opportunity I was offered at MIPS in early 2006, when I was a student at University of California, San Diego, and will certainly never forget the learning experience my time here has been. I stand today an incomparably more proficient programmer than the day I first started writing code at MIPS.
I hope that this notice will provide you with the time necessary to prepare for my departure and would like to emphasize my desire to help with that process.
