15:21 Adrasteia [46]: Whats up
15:22 Lunar Borealis [20]: nm, just trying to find a spot to level and chill but everyone is everywhere lol
15:22 Adrasteia [46]: Yea.
15:22 Adrasteia [46]: You are right.
15:22 Adrasteia [46]: Hard to forget how to ride a bike.
15:22 Adrasteia [46]: >.>
15:22 Lunar Borealis [20]: hehe
15:22 Adrasteia [46]: I was laying in bed other night.
15:23 Lunar Borealis [20]: so u getting it back once you get back on the bike heh
15:23 Adrasteia [46]: And i started to fall into myself.
15:23 Adrasteia [46]: Understand what i mean?
15:23 Adrasteia [46]: Not into the dream.
15:23 Lunar Borealis [20]: o yeah
15:23 Adrasteia [46]: But into myself.
15:23 Lunar Borealis [20]: a feeling of being pulled down almost
15:23 Adrasteia [46]: I was focusing hard on saying "deeper" as i was breathing out slowly.
15:23 Lunar Borealis [20]: thats one reported feeling of sp onset
15:23 Adrasteia [46]: And as i did it, i just started to fall into myself.
15:24 Adrasteia [46]: Eventually I got to a point.
15:24 Adrasteia [46]: Wher eI almost stopped feeling my breathing.
15:24 Adrasteia [46]: And had this huge urge to move.
15:24 Adrasteia [46]: I couldnt stand the urge so i moved, rolled over after a while and fell asleep.
15:24 Adrasteia [46]: >.>
15:24 Adrasteia [46]: But yea, guess i remember how to ride a bike.
15:24 Lunar Borealis [20]: heh hate when i do that
15:24 Lunar Borealis [20]: good to hear lol
15:33 Adrasteia [46]: So.
15:33 Adrasteia [46]: Whats your opinion of ld4all?
15:33 Adrasteia [46]: :/
15:33 Lunar Borealis [20]: slow ass progress
15:33 Lunar Borealis [20]: hehe
15:34 Adrasteia [46]: Id have to agree.
15:34 Adrasteia [46]: >.>
15:34 Adrasteia [46]: I see things i did to improve my wild technique.
15:34 Lunar Borealis [20]: but still pretty much the only progressing sort of organization open to the public
15:34 Adrasteia [46]: Being submitted as new techniques every now and then.
15:34 Lunar Borealis [20]: i posted things years ago that only now theyre admitting to
15:34 Lunar Borealis [20]: yeah
15:34 Adrasteia [46]: And im like... i came up with that shit so long ago.
15:35 Adrasteia [46]: What do you submit?
15:35 Adrasteia [46]: :/
15:35 Lunar Borealis [20]: yeah thats why i stopped going once i saw my own ideas being used
15:35 Lunar Borealis [20]: stuff relating to habituation technique
15:35 Adrasteia [46]: I havent noticed that on their forums yet.
15:35 Lunar Borealis [20]: focusing awareness as far as its effects on ld-prologing, focusing awareness being simple focus on the fact that you are aware
15:36 Lunar Borealis [20]: not to focus on surroundings
15:36 Lunar Borealis [20]: ive seen some stuff on habit having effect on ld frequency
15:36 Lunar Borealis [20]: i dont remember what else i submitted, it was so long ago
15:36 Adrasteia [46]: Well, brief one sentence things about that i have seen.
15:36 Adrasteia [46]: Like someone saying "ive been doing this so long, it just kinda happens randomly now xD"
15:37 Adrasteia [46]: Ive seen people say something along those liens.
15:37 Adrasteia [46]: But never a topic dedicated to it.
15:37 Lunar Borealis [20]: whenever i dedicated topics to progressive sort of things
15:37 Lunar Borealis [20]: no one would post in them
15:37 Adrasteia [46]: Yea, you and me both.
15:37 Adrasteia [46]: I posted once on emotions and the effects it had in my normal dreams.
15:38 Adrasteia [46]: Hoping people could build with me and maybe lead to something new.
15:38 Lunar Borealis [20]: nice
15:38 Adrasteia [46]: But no one would post at all.
15:38 Adrasteia [46]: They all were like "thats cool"
15:38 Adrasteia [46]: :/
15:38 Lunar Borealis [20]: man i kno the feeling lol
15:39 Lunar Borealis [20]: one way i want to put my psych major to use
15:39 Lunar Borealis [20]: is to use the understandings i gain from that and my own ld experience to write an advanced book like Steven LaBerge did
15:39 Adrasteia [46]: If you ever do that man, lemme know.
15:39 Adrasteia [46]: Ill be first in line to buy a copy.
15:39 Lunar Borealis [20]: hell yeah
15:40 Lunar Borealis [20]: :)
15:41 Lunar Borealis [20]: man u kno the server is full when u get more exp/hour at trolls than at rots
15:42 Adrasteia [46]: Yea lol.
15:44 Adrasteia [46]: You serious about writing me that tutorial?
15:44 Lunar Borealis [20]: do u really need it tho :P
15:44 Adrasteia [46]: Id like to submit it to ld4all.
15:45 Lunar Borealis [20]: hmm...
15:46 Adrasteia [46]: I figure I dont need help with lding.
15:46 Lunar Borealis [20]: if i do end up doing it its gonna be very analytical and picking apart of factors of lding and stuff
15:46 Adrasteia [46]: Good.
15:47 Adrasteia [46]: Im sure it would be a big hit.
15:47 Lunar Borealis [20]: i dont know about that lol
15:47 Adrasteia [46]: If it isnt, ill make multiple accounts on forums to bump it.
15:47 Adrasteia [46]: Till someone fucking replies.
15:47 Lunar Borealis [20]: hehe
15:48 Adrasteia [46]: So?
15:48 Adrasteia [46]: Think you could find spare time to create it?
15:49 Lunar Borealis [20]: yeah
15:49 Adrasteia [46]: Im really looking forward to it man.
15:49 Adrasteia [46]: Regardless of its effect on the ld4all community, im sure itll stay in my folder of collected works.
15:50 Adrasteia [46]: I got a folder of printouts from all the original new ideas ive founds, heard about, and read about over the years.
15:50 Lunar Borealis [20]: nice
15:50 Lunar Borealis [20]: i want that lol
15:50 Adrasteia [46]: Sadly thats not saying much.
15:50 Adrasteia [46]: Aint that big a folder.
15:50 Adrasteia [46]: :/
15:50 Lunar Borealis [20]: u kno
15:50 Lunar Borealis [20]: for awhile ive been thinking of making a website dedicated to LD lol
15:50 Adrasteia [46]: I dont think it would work that well.
15:51 Adrasteia [46]: Not trying to shoot you down.
15:51 Lunar Borealis [20]: yeah
15:51 Lunar Borealis [20]: thats why i havent done it lol
15:51 Adrasteia [46]: Its just, dreamviews and ld4all are only ld sites on the net that grow any.
15:51 Adrasteia [46]: dreamviews is better and more technical than ld4all.
15:51 Adrasteia [46]: But ld4all is much more common.
15:52 Lunar Borealis [20]: ive never actually been to dreamviews
15:52 Adrasteia [46]: I dont go often.
15:57 Adrasteia [46]: When can i expect it?
15:57 Adrasteia [46]: A few weeks from now?
15:57 Lunar Borealis [20]: a week
15:57 Lunar Borealis [20]: i'll do it in pats
15:57 Lunar Borealis [20]: parts*
15:58 Adrasteia [46]: Sounds good.
16:00 Adrasteia [46]: What do you think "a tut" is?
16:01 Lunar Borealis [20]: dont know
16:01 Adrasteia [46]: If i said i was gonna write a tut.
16:01 Adrasteia [46]: What would you think it is?
16:01 Adrasteia [46]: :/
16:01 Lunar Borealis [20]: a small discourse on a specific subject
16:01 Adrasteia [46]: Meh. Maybe i expect too much from people.
16:01 Adrasteia [46]: >.>
16:02 Adrasteia [46]: [16:02] * Slinking_Ferret has read EWLD the forums for about a year the entire LD4all guide and several Wikipedia articles on medicines and such. [16:02] Girby: Ok, and? [16:02] Slinking_Ferret: Yet I STILL have problems getting LD's just because WILD doe
16:03 Adrasteia [46]: not seem to work.
16:03 Adrasteia [46]: Im girby btw.
16:03 Adrasteia [46]: >.>
16:03 Lunar Borealis [20]: tut: a natural interjection expressing contempt.
16:03 Adrasteia [46]: Your technique is basicly wild right?
16:03 Lunar Borealis [20]: is this like ld4all irc or something?
16:03 Adrasteia [46]: Yea, im on ld4all irc.
16:04 Adrasteia [46]: irc.chat4all.org
16:04 Adrasteia [46]: .#ld4all
16:04 Adrasteia [46]: Server and channel.
16:04 Lunar Borealis [20]: yeah mainly wild but increasing frequency of ld from within nd
16:05 Lunar Borealis [20]: where i just become lucid, without even the pre-realizations its just like 'ok, im lucid'
16:05 Lunar Borealis [20]: that usually happens if my wilds fail
16:05 Lunar Borealis [20]: which is interesting to note, im still trying to figure out that one
16:06 Adrasteia [46]: Hmm.
16:06 Adrasteia [46]: In my normal dreams.
16:06 Adrasteia [46]: I constantly note apong awakening and reviewing my dreams.
16:07 Adrasteia [46]: That i remember perfermoning previous acts in my dreams.
16:07 Adrasteia [46]: I mean.
16:07 Adrasteia [46]: Ill be in a location and in the dream ill state.
16:07 Adrasteia [46]: Yea, ive been here before.
16:07 Adrasteia [46]: Or ill have the same dream again.
16:07 Lunar Borealis [20]: is that relative to dreamscape?
16:07 Adrasteia [46]: And in the dream ill be like.... "Oh im doing this one again"
16:08 Adrasteia [46]: Ill know in my normal dreams that ive previously had this dream, or been in this dreamscape before.
16:08 Lunar Borealis [20]: recognition of dreamsign and/or dreamscape
16:08 Adrasteia [46]: But thats as far as it goes.
16:08 Lunar Borealis [20]: so it doesnt go lucid from there
16:08 Adrasteia [46]: No.
16:08 Adrasteia [46]: I just acknowledge that its happened before and move on with the dream.
16:09 Lunar Borealis [20]: hmm i kno what u mean
16:10 Lunar Borealis [20]: sometimes my nds will be repeats, even, and i'll even act differently depending on if it is needed
16:10 Lunar Borealis [20]: but i wont be lucid
16:10 Adrasteia [46]: Yes.
16:10 Lunar Borealis [20]: its almost as if, from the point of an nd, (or perhaps, the subconscious), lucidity is not that great
16:10 Lunar Borealis [20]: that in fact lucidity is great to the ego, the aware self, while the subconscious is like 'meh'
16:12 Adrasteia [46]: Hmm yea.
16:13 Lunar Borealis [20]: i wonder
16:14 Lunar Borealis [20]: if it is because the subconscious is so used to communicating through ND's (and is thus habituated in a sense) or if, in fact, lucidity is overrated :P
16:14 Adrasteia [46]: I would say in a sense lucidity is a bit overrated.
16:14 Adrasteia [46]: But also habit im sure plays a role.
16:14 Lunar Borealis [20]: yeah at least in part
16:15 Adrasteia [46]: Becoming lucid in dreams is done by breaking the habit of accepting normal dreams as uncontrollable.
16:15 Lunar Borealis [20]: but i agree, lucidity is overrated, its but one thing of many things dream-related the mind can do
16:23 Adrasteia [46]: Im bored.
16:23 Adrasteia [46]: Whats your opinion on OBE's?
16:23 Adrasteia [46]: ^.-
16:23 Lunar Borealis [20]: same lol
16:23 Adrasteia [46]: I personally think they are jsut wilds.
16:23 Lunar Borealis [20]: i personally disagree lol
16:23 Adrasteia [46]: But thats my opinion from reading others experiences.
16:24 Lunar Borealis [20]: mines based on my own experiences :)
16:24 Lunar Borealis [20]: otherwise id probably think the same thing
16:24 Adrasteia [46]: Explain.
16:24 Lunar Borealis [20]: i thought i told u about my OBE?
16:25 Adrasteia [46]: Nope.
16:26 Lunar Borealis [20]: k so do u want the short or very long background included version lol
16:26 Adrasteia [46]: long.
16:26 Adrasteia [46]: I like details.
16:26 Adrasteia [46]: Gives a bettter view.
16:26 Lunar Borealis [20]: i know
16:26 Lunar Borealis [20]: but i still asked anyway lol
16:27 Lunar Borealis [20]: k let me blow my mana on these goblins
16:27 Adrasteia [46]: .exori vis
16:27 Adrasteia [46]: >.>
16:28 Lunar Borealis [20]: hellz yeah :)
16:28 Adrasteia [46]: I like exori mort more.
16:28 Adrasteia [46]: But it does less damage.
16:28 Lunar Borealis [20]: it does look cool
16:31 Lunar Borealis [20]: ownage lol
16:31 Lunar Borealis [20]: k
16:31 Adrasteia [46]: Ever been told you look too far into things?
16:31 Adrasteia [46]: [16:28] Jason: I knew you would look too far into it [16:28] Jason: like you always do [16:28] Jon: Of course.
16:31 Lunar Borealis [20]: years ago i was told that i read too far into the things my girl would do
16:32 Lunar Borealis [20]: which had been up to that point messing up my relationships a fair deal
16:32 Lunar Borealis [20]: so i stopped doing that lol, but since then, no, i have not been told that i do that in any regard
16:32 Adrasteia [46]: I just cant help but not accept what people do at face value anymore.
16:33 Adrasteia [46]: Guess its because i expect others to think the way i do.
16:33 Adrasteia [46]: But meh.
16:33 Lunar Borealis [20]: meh theres nothing wrong with critical thinking
16:33 Adrasteia [46]: Anyways, your story on your obe?
16:33 Lunar Borealis [20]: the only thing that can be considered dangerous about it was that, it killed the great Socrates, the man who many consider the father of critical, analytical thought
16:34 Lunar Borealis [20]: k, well it was years ago
16:34 Lunar Borealis [20]: for about a year prior to that
16:34 Adrasteia [46]: I am not a history buff, bried view on how he died?
16:34 Adrasteia [46]: Just real quick.
16:34 Adrasteia [46]: brief*
16:34 Lunar Borealis [20]: yeah the greeks made him commit suicide in front of all his friends by drinking a poisoned ambrosia
16:35 Adrasteia [46]: :o Why and how?
16:35 Lunar Borealis [20]: a sort of ritualistic execution
16:35 Lunar Borealis [20]: cuz he would go around asking king and beggar alike their views on say god, morality, ethics, anything and everything
16:35 Adrasteia [46]: Youve peaked my curiosity. >.> Sorry
16:35 Lunar Borealis [20]: then critically analyze, pick apart, and show logically and undeniably that their views were wrong
16:35 Lunar Borealis [20]: he was the man who said
16:36 Lunar Borealis [20]: 'the only thing i truly know is that i know nothing' and he believed it was the same with everyone
16:36 Adrasteia [46]: I agree.
16:36 Lunar Borealis [20]: so anyways he did that and of course the nobility got pissed so eventually they made him do that
16:36 Adrasteia [46]: My views, my knowledged is based off what ive read and heard from others.
16:36 Lunar Borealis [20]: yeah i agree as well, thats why hes a friggen hero lol
16:37 Adrasteia [46]: Sounds good, back to the story plz.
16:37 Adrasteia [46]: :S
16:38 Lunar Borealis [20]: kk
16:38 Lunar Borealis [20]: a year prior i was only just getting pretty good at LD's,
16:38 Lunar Borealis [20]: wait one sec
16:39 Adrasteia [46]: Ok.
16:39 Lunar Borealis [20]: how do i turn off seing spells in private chat
16:39 Lunar Borealis [20]: cuz im gonna save this lol
16:39 Adrasteia [46]: Not sure you can.
16:39 Adrasteia [46]: Just kinda gotta tab outa private chat before saying the magic words.
16:39 Adrasteia [46]: utevo lux
16:40 Lunar Borealis [20]: o well
16:40 Lunar Borealis [20]: for two years before it happened i was heavily into and practicing LD
16:40 Lunar Borealis [20]: for the first time in my life
16:41 Lunar Borealis [20]: a year after i started that heavy research (or one year before it happened), I discovered the concept of OBE and NDE
16:41 Lunar Borealis [20]: things I had only briefly read about I then delved into with a fiery passion
16:42 Lunar Borealis [20]: the main website I found myself referring to was astralvoyage.com
16:42 Lunar Borealis [20]: which now is a twisted reflection of its once-reasonable guidelines
16:42 Lunar Borealis [20]: there I came to know about Astral Projection
16:43 Lunar Borealis [20]: or a forced OBE
16:44 Lunar Borealis [20]: i traced its knowledge and practice to its ancient egyptian roots
16:45 Lunar Borealis [20]: and once I had absorbed all I thought I could, and with the help of a friend (who was quite enthusiastic about LD's and far better than I even to this day at it) I went for it, I developed my technique from the ground up
16:45 Lunar Borealis [20]: I would make small steps and she was right behind me, her name was Brianne and without her I would be nowhere with LD's or anything
16:45 Lunar Borealis [20]: well at one point she could not reproduce that which I had achieved, or what I called the 'floating state'
16:46 Lunar Borealis [20]: which felt like I was floating around inside the shell I could only assume was my body
16:46 Lunar Borealis [20]: she could only get so far as sleep paralysis and from there into a dream or LD
16:47 Adrasteia [46]: I know the feeling of that.
16:47 Adrasteia [46]: I for a while practiced mobile body awareness.
16:47 Lunar Borealis [20]: so from that point I was on my own, and progress became slower as I saw how distraught she had become
16:47 Adrasteia [46]: I would try and move my awareness up and down throughtout my arm
16:47 Adrasteia [46]: "Peeling" off the "skin"
16:47 Lunar Borealis [20]: hehe
16:47 Adrasteia [46]: To free myself to float around.
16:47 Adrasteia [46]: I could get to where ti felt like my arm was entirely electric.
16:47 Adrasteia [46]: And was kinda there but not there.
16:48 Adrasteia [46]: Never got further.
16:48 Adrasteia [46]: I would use that to induce sleep paralysis.
16:48 Adrasteia [46]: And try and wild from there.
16:48 Lunar Borealis [20]: did it ever feel like your arm was suddenly floating up and around like through water with a current?
16:48 Adrasteia [46]: Never looked more into it.
16:48 Lunar Borealis [20]: and weightless
16:48 Lunar Borealis [20]: o
16:48 Adrasteia [46]: Yes, it felt like that at times.
16:48 Adrasteia [46]: But i would use that to try to induce the feeling of spinning.
16:48 Lunar Borealis [20]: :P then you are more advanced than you might think lol
16:49 Adrasteia [46]: Which helped to induce sp.
16:49 Lunar Borealis [20]: what im referring to tho is far beyond sleep paralysis
16:49 Adrasteia [46]: I would focus entirely of spinning using the actual feeling of the arm as an example to "roll" over and over till sp hit
16:49 Adrasteia [46]: And i was pulled suddenly into the ld.
16:50 Lunar Borealis [20]: hmm
16:50 Adrasteia [46]: I never tried to use it for anything else.
16:50 Adrasteia [46]: I got the idea from a book I bought.
16:50 Lunar Borealis [20]: well if indeed we are referring to the same thing, you just might
16:50 Adrasteia [46]: "astral dynamics"
16:50 Adrasteia [46]: As i said earlier.
16:50 Adrasteia [46]: I beleive ap and obe
16:50 Adrasteia [46]: are just wild.
16:50 Adrasteia [46]: Different names.
16:51 Adrasteia [46]: So i bought a book on astral projection to help me with my wild techniques.
16:51 Adrasteia [46]: Worked. :/
16:51 Lunar Borealis [20]: heh
16:51 Lunar Borealis [20]: but that could either mean that you are in fact right, and that AP and OBE are LD
16:52 Adrasteia [46]: I never read the whole book. Just the technique parts and adapted them to my style that i already had.
16:52 Lunar Borealis [20]: or that your predisposition only made such true
16:52 Adrasteia [46]: It could be either.
16:52 Lunar Borealis [20]: yep
16:52 Adrasteia [46]: Im always open to the idea that i could be wrong lol.
16:52 Adrasteia [46]: xD
16:52 Lunar Borealis [20]: goddam MS gains mana so fast its crazy
16:53 Lunar Borealis [20]: well thats a good attitude hehe
16:53 Adrasteia [46]: 1 mana a second.
16:53 Adrasteia [46]: Im only open to the idea that i could be wrong because I dont beleive anything anyone says.
16:53 Adrasteia [46]: Including myself.
16:53 Lunar Borealis [20]: nice
16:53 Adrasteia [46]: Depends on how you look at it.
16:54 Adrasteia [46]: Leads to you having a small distrust of everyone, including your closest friends.
16:54 Adrasteia [46]: >.>
16:54 Lunar Borealis [20]: doesnt for me
16:55 Lunar Borealis [20]: what people tell me I believe that they believe it
16:55 Lunar Borealis [20]: and I myself will go on to help them expand on those subjects mainly for their own benefit
16:55 Lunar Borealis [20]: but it has been a truly long time since i learned anything from anyone other than myself
16:56 Lunar Borealis [20]: new knowledge I process through much critical thinking and if there are counterarguments, those are considered fully until i come to a general understanding, which is what I take to be sufficient specifications for 'knowledge'
16:56 Adrasteia [46]: I dont care what others believe. I can say that.
16:56 Adrasteia [46]: I believe they couldbe and probably are wrong, but i leave it at that.
16:56 Lunar Borealis [20]: yeah
16:58 Adrasteia [46]: Even though i constantly expect people to lie to me and expect them to be ignorant of all they know, thinking that they are probably wrong.
16:58 Adrasteia [46]: I always find myselfs asking people what they know.
16:58 Adrasteia [46]: Trying to learn more from them by comparing it to what i have read, seen, and heard from others.
16:59 Lunar Borealis [20]: lol we're very similar in that regard
16:59 Adrasteia [46]: Seeing if what they say matches anything else ive experienced.
16:59 Adrasteia [46]: I love learning.
16:59 Adrasteia [46]: Really do, its just a pain in the ass at times when you are lazy xD
17:00 Lunar Borealis [20]: :P you and me both
17:00 Adrasteia [46]: Ok, back to your story
17:01 Lunar Borealis [20]: k, so floating state
17:01 Adrasteia [46]: Ive only an hour left here befor ei leave and i would really like to hear it before then.
17:01 Lunar Borealis [20]: well wait i skipped some stuff, the stages
17:01 Lunar Borealis [20]: basically it was laying down, body relaxation, sleep paralysis, dark state, floating state, and then separation
17:02 Lunar Borealis [20]: to clarify on dark state, it was like being conscious but that is it, not even 'darkness' but more of a lack of everything except consciousness
17:03 Adrasteia [46]: dark state, I do believe i hit that the other night. >.> It was jsut after the falling sensation. I was trying to see what i saw with my eyes, but i was waivering inbetween darkness and seeing through my eyelids. Was odd.
17:03 Lunar Borealis [20]: something I found ironic relating to the famous line 'I think therefore I am' by Descartes
17:03 Adrasteia [46]: Ok. Your darkstate is diff from what i thought you meant.
17:03 Lunar Borealis [20]: hmm
17:03 Adrasteia [46]: But you understand what im am saying, im sure.
17:03 Lunar Borealis [20]: yeah there was no 'seeing' it was just pure thought, not even a feeling of the body
17:03 Lunar Borealis [20]: yeah i know what u mean
17:04 Lunar Borealis [20]: back then, the discovery of dark state elated me because I could go immediately from that to dream creation and LD
17:04 Adrasteia [46]: Ive had your darkstate before.
17:04 Lunar Borealis [20]: so I integrated that into my LD technique and so did Brianne
17:04 Adrasteia [46]: I always waited there for the ld to start on its own.
17:04 Adrasteia [46]: I never used it to mold my dreams.
17:05 Lunar Borealis [20]: I like to think of darkstate as
17:05 Lunar Borealis [20]: a sort of command prompt
17:05 Adrasteia [46]: Lol. xD
17:05 Lunar Borealis [20]: :P
17:05 Adrasteia [46]: I wouldnt use that example.
17:05 Lunar Borealis [20]: true, especially how it contradicts how i used it to get to floating state
17:06 Adrasteia [46]: Ok. Explain
17:06 Lunar Borealis [20]: whereas dark state was consciousness, existence, and thought, there I find myself stuck wondering how to get to the floating state, which was basically when your astral body was beginning to separate from the physical
17:06 Lunar Borealis [20]: I was so close, and every time I hit dark state I would try so hard, think so hard
17:07 Lunar Borealis [20]: which was my fatal mistake for about two months
17:07 Adrasteia [46]: I am definitely saving this log.
17:07 Adrasteia [46]: ^.^
17:07 Lunar Borealis [20]: it was not until i truly let go of all thought and integrated meditative state into it that I could breach into floating state
17:08 Lunar Borealis [20]: because, as I later found out by deeper research, the mind itself is phsycial an that, theoretically, bodily activity especially in the mind will keep both bodies attached
17:08 Lunar Borealis [20]: due to electromagnetic impulses
17:08 Lunar Borealis [20]: which ironically I found to make sense given the large numbers of reports where people would be floating out but still attached at the head, lmao
17:08 Adrasteia [46]: Lol.
17:09 Adrasteia [46]: Ive read the same as well.
17:09 Lunar Borealis [20]: thankfully I had been practicing meditation since the age of 12
17:09 Adrasteia [46]: I never meditate. I am lucky with what ld and wild skill I do have.
17:09 Adrasteia [46]: I was told by a doctor that I have ADD.
17:09 Adrasteia [46]: But who knows.
17:09 Adrasteia [46]: Apparently everyone has it these days. >.>
17:09 Lunar Borealis [20]: add is an excuse to medicate
17:09 Lunar Borealis [20]: and make money
17:09 Adrasteia [46]: I agree.
17:10 Adrasteia [46]: They tried to give me medicine to help me, I declined it saying "No ty. I dont plan on ever taking it even if you pay for me to have it"
17:10 Lunar Borealis [20]: hehe rock on
17:10 Adrasteia [46]: I saw the effects it had on my little brother.
17:11 Adrasteia [46]: Didnt like them much.
17:11 Lunar Borealis [20]: : /
17:11 Adrasteia [46]: It did calm him and did help him to have better grades in school.
17:11 Adrasteia [46]: But i felt it changed who he was.
17:11 Adrasteia [46]: I didnt like that.
17:12 Lunar Borealis [20]: yeah
17:12 Lunar Borealis [20]: one of my best friends it did the same thing to
17:13 Adrasteia [46]: Story.Backto please. :)

Channel saved at Sun May 13 18:34:32 2007
15:21 Adrasteia [46]: Whats up
15:22 Lunar Borealis [20]: nm, just trying to find a spot to level and chill but everyone is everywhere lol
17:14 Lunar Borealis [20]: so returning to the story
17:14 Lunar Borealis [20]: I told myself that once I hit dark state I would silence the mind completely
17:14 Lunar Borealis [20]: I would hit dark state and think 'okay silence the mind silence the mind' which was of course, not silencing the mind
17:15 Lunar Borealis [20]: I realized that meditation from waking consciousness and here were entirely different, and that the mind, while the body was asleep, was more prone to activity, or thought
17:15 Lunar Borealis [20]: this realization had two benefits
17:16 Lunar Borealis [20]: one was my slow development of meditation from within this state to the 'success point'
17:16 Lunar Borealis [20]: and another was the realization that meditation from dark state was more advanced than in waking state
17:16 Lunar Borealis [20]: with the latter, I applied it backwards and thus improved waking meditation
17:17 Lunar Borealis [20]: the former of course was the crossing over into floating state, something which was kind of amusing the first few times
17:17 Adrasteia [46]: Sounds awesome.
17:17 Lunar Borealis [20]: because it would hit like a blast, suddenly my sense of 'body' was weightless and yet moving around something
17:18 Lunar Borealis [20]: so then i would get to thinking 'woa' and about how it felt and how i could define it and the like, and the resulting brain activity if great enough (which it was the first few times due to excitement) it would snap me back not to dark state but
17:18 Lunar Borealis [20]: all the way back to sleep paralysis
17:19 Lunar Borealis [20]: this took me like a week to understand
17:19 Lunar Borealis [20]: and i realized that the feeling of a body in floating state (which to me is the spiritual body), that concept, mixed with increased brain activity or an active consciousness
17:20 Lunar Borealis [20]: was enough activity to snap me that far back
17:20 Lunar Borealis [20]: because the dark state had no concept of a body
17:21 Lunar Borealis [20]: so once I had established that network of personal knowledge and technique
17:21 Lunar Borealis [20]: only then would i not be excited to hit floating
17:21 Lunar Borealis [20]: because it was old news to me, i understood where I had come from and had only eyes for the path before me
17:22 Lunar Borealis [20]: so I hit floating state, and I realized that I was floating around inside my physical shell
17:22 Lunar Borealis [20]: only when I tried to put that spiritual body to rest would I be able to start the separation process
17:22 Lunar Borealis [20]: again, ironically, due to meditation
17:23 Adrasteia [46]: Sounds like you move inbetween states of mediation to states of slight thought.
17:23 Lunar Borealis [20]: if i silenced the mind parts of me would detach and float freely above their old limits
17:23 Lunar Borealis [20]: or shell
17:23 Lunar Borealis [20]: yeah its a very delicate process
17:23 Adrasteia [46]: Moving deeper and deeper into mediation while awareness grows.
17:23 Adrasteia [46]: Or well
17:23 Adrasteia [46]: Hmm lemme find the words.
17:24 Lunar Borealis [20]: well i wouldnt say that awareness grows but remains, while the mind is silent
17:24 Lunar Borealis [20]: like an eye in the darkness
17:24 Adrasteia [46]: Yea.
17:25 Lunar Borealis [20]: the first time my arm separated I was elated
17:25 Lunar Borealis [20]: and of course, elation was the mind killer and I would have to start back at dark state or sp
17:25 Adrasteia [46]: What a horrid thing.
17:25 Lunar Borealis [20]: or with my leg, or when finally my body below the head
17:25 Lunar Borealis [20]: yeah, elation and excitement relatively suck :P
17:26 Adrasteia [46]: Gain such good progress only to not be able to show your joy.
17:26 Adrasteia [46]: :/
17:26 Adrasteia [46]: Sounds like an evil monk lol. xD
17:26 Lunar Borealis [20]: eventually I had to quiet elation to a sort of smile of the consciousness but nothing more
17:26 Adrasteia [46]: "A calm clear mind at all times or else you die"
17:26 Adrasteia [46]: :o
17:26 Lunar Borealis [20]: like a small smile as you walked on
17:26 Lunar Borealis [20]: lol nice
17:27 Lunar Borealis [20]: at the head point I would again get stuck
17:27 Adrasteia [46]: Ive like 20 mins left before I leave.
17:27 Lunar Borealis [20]: because there I was with my entire body except the head free floating, and it felt so weird
17:27 Adrasteia [46]: Continue the story, if its not done by then, well pick up when i return.
17:27 Lunar Borealis [20]: k
17:28 Lunar Borealis [20]: i knew enough to know that of course I was thinking too much, but 'how?' was the question
17:28 Lunar Borealis [20]: I was merely aware of my body and trying to get it stabilized and fully separated
17:28 Lunar Borealis [20]: it wasnt until i wrote something like that in my journal that i realized the killer word: trying
17:28 Lunar Borealis [20]: and bam, the biggest realization of my technique hit me
17:28 Lunar Borealis [20]: that throughout each stage, it was not trying that gained me success, but 'letting go'
17:29 Lunar Borealis [20]: 'meditation, silencing the mind'
17:29 Lunar Borealis [20]: 'the bird of paradise alights only upon the hand that does not grasp'
17:29 Lunar Borealis [20]: that night was to be possibly the most life-changing event i have ever to experience
17:29 Lunar Borealis [20]: there i was at the head state
17:30 Lunar Borealis [20]: and I remembered that I should not try to stabilize my body, but to let if float free
17:30 Lunar Borealis [20]: i had realized earlier that the feeling of weighlessness and the like was uncomfortable - I was, thanks to waking physical life, too used to gravity and a sense of 'grounding'
17:31 Lunar Borealis [20]: and like a cat naturally would try to land on my feet so to speak, or 'turn myself in a way as to feel comfortable'
17:31 Lunar Borealis [20]: So i let go, and suddenly detached
17:32 Lunar Borealis [20]: silenced the mind and all try, all natural inclinations to control my 'body'
17:32 Lunar Borealis [20]: and bam
17:32 Lunar Borealis [20]: I could, see, but it was strange
17:32 Lunar Borealis [20]: not the normal field of vision but expanded, changing even
17:33 Lunar Borealis [20]: and I could not control where I looked, but was doomed to see that which my 'body' turned towards
17:33 Lunar Borealis [20]: as I floated about my room near the ceiling
17:33 Lunar Borealis [20]: I got stuck in the NE corner of the room for a bit too
17:33 Lunar Borealis [20]: until I got used to the new field of vision, which was more of an awareness of everything around me than anything else
17:34 Lunar Borealis [20]: I was too used to the normal way of seeing and slowly was shedding it
17:34 Adrasteia [46]: You dont see it, but you do?
17:34 Lunar Borealis [20]: its a form of sight, and there is color
17:34 Lunar Borealis [20]: but its like seeing everything at once
17:34 Adrasteia [46]: 360 degree vision?
17:34 Adrasteia [46]: :o
17:35 Lunar Borealis [20]: I needed a sense of grounding because i was turbulently 'hitting' my walls and stuff and could not really do anything
17:35 Adrasteia [46]: Ive heard of it, never had it before.
17:35 Lunar Borealis [20]: I forced my vision down to normal because only from that did I have a point of view to relate to
17:35 Lunar Borealis [20]: because then i could know when i was turning
17:36 Lunar Borealis [20]: and from there barely control movement
17:36 Lunar Borealis [20]: I remembered my central tenet 'do not try so hard' and as I let go found it very easy to float wherever I desired, albeit slowly
17:36 Lunar Borealis [20]: I wanted to see my bed, I had to see it
17:36 Lunar Borealis [20]: and there it was, sure enough, a big lump in the bed, my physical body, though entirely covered by my blanked
17:36 Lunar Borealis [20]: blanket
17:37 Lunar Borealis [20]: then for some reason I turned upwards facing the ceiling
17:37 Lunar Borealis [20]: and yet wanted to feel my body lol
17:37 Lunar Borealis [20]: so I reached backwards, more like let my arm drift down there
17:37 Lunar Borealis [20]: and brushed the top of the bed in a sort of retarded, limp fashion
17:38 Lunar Borealis [20]: I considered then, getting the hell out of my room
17:38 Adrasteia [46]: lol
17:38 Lunar Borealis [20]: and came to rest on the edge of my bed, a sort of sitting position and then 'landed on the floor'
17:38 Adrasteia [46]: I can just picture that xD
17:38 Lunar Borealis [20]: hehe
17:38 Lunar Borealis [20]: I wanted to get out of my door, which was shut
17:38 Lunar Borealis [20]: so i tried to walk to it
17:39 Lunar Borealis [20]: my 'legs' had lost all sense of working and I realizd I had to learn how to work my new 'body' much like an infant crawls before he or she walks
17:39 Lunar Borealis [20]: which explained how I could only control my arm to touch the bed by just letting it drift down there
17:39 Lunar Borealis [20]: I ended up crawling to the door
17:40 Lunar Borealis [20]: and realized that my concept of 'walking' applied a sort of gravitic concept to my body and that was why my body was dragging on the ground
17:40 Lunar Borealis [20]: so I let go of that and started floating again
17:40 Lunar Borealis [20]: reached the door handle, and there I was staring at it but it would not move
17:41 Lunar Borealis [20]: with a great smile I gave up on that idea - I realized that I could not see my hand but i knew i was grasping the door handle
17:41 Lunar Borealis [20]: I wanted to see if there was any indication of my astral body in the visual sense, and realized I needed a sort of light source
17:41 Lunar Borealis [20]: the only bit of which was coming through my draped window
17:41 Lunar Borealis [20]: It was then I realized the color of everything, a sort of pale blue
17:41 Lunar Borealis [20]: in shades
17:42 Lunar Borealis [20]: like smoke almost from a cigarrete
17:42 Lunar Borealis [20]: so I made my way slowly toward the window (which is on the N side of my room, the door is on the S side : / )
17:42 Adrasteia [46]: I can tell this had a great impact on your lding after this happened.
17:42 Lunar Borealis [20]: that took awhile and I ended up having to go alongside the E wall to it
17:42 Lunar Borealis [20]: yeah it did
17:42 Adrasteia [46]: Especially with all the details you note.
17:42 Lunar Borealis [20]: especially the realizations of the mind
17:43 Lunar Borealis [20]: I knew quite shortly that it wasnt an LD
17:43 Lunar Borealis [20]: but the greatest proof to me of that was not to come for a bit
17:43 Lunar Borealis [20]: ur running out of time so here goes, crazy typing time
17:43 Lunar Borealis [20]: I sat on the edge of my bed facing the window
17:43 Adrasteia [46]: 7 mins left before I have to leave.
17:44 Adrasteia [46]: As i said, if you dont finish in time, well continue later.
17:44 Lunar Borealis [20]: and raised my hand directly between the sight of it and my point of vision
17:44 Adrasteia [46]: Dont leave any details out plz.
17:44 Lunar Borealis [20]: k
17:44 Lunar Borealis [20]: I saw nothing
17:44 Lunar Borealis [20]: I loked closer
17:44 Lunar Borealis [20]: and realize i wasnt moving closer but zooming my vision
17:45 Lunar Borealis [20]: which leads me to believe that vision and the astral body are separate things, perhaps even bodies
17:45 Lunar Borealis [20]: so I zoomed my vision and into the window drape I went
17:45 Lunar Borealis [20]: everything was a pale bright blue but there were small black specks
17:45 Lunar Borealis [20]: spaced evenly apart
17:45 Lunar Borealis [20]: I still dont know to this day what the hell that was, but for sure it wasnt my hand
17:46 Lunar Borealis [20]: I zoomed back and this time moved my hand in front of my vision
17:46 Lunar Borealis [20]: I saw, movement, slight movement
17:46 Lunar Borealis [20]: I did it again slowly and realized that my spiritual body looked like clear gas
17:46 Lunar Borealis [20]: much like the movement you see if you hold a lighter close and let out the fuel
17:46 Lunar Borealis [20]: how it distorts the background
17:47 Lunar Borealis [20]: do you know what I am talking about?
17:47 Lunar Borealis [20]: like heatwaves
17:47 Adrasteia [46]: Goodnews.
17:47 Adrasteia [46]: My plans just got canceled.
17:47 Lunar Borealis [20]: yes! lol
17:47 Adrasteia [46]: Started to pour rain here very badly.
17:47 Lunar Borealis [20]: what were they?
17:48 Adrasteia [46]: I had a formation I was going to attend.
17:48 Adrasteia [46]: But i dont need to now that iw as canceled.
17:48 Adrasteia [46]: it was*
17:48 Lunar Borealis [20]: cool beans
17:48 Lunar Borealis [20]: brb piss
17:48 Adrasteia [46]: Ok.
17:49 Lunar Borealis [20]: back
17:49 Lunar Borealis [20]: When I discovered that was what my body looked like, I was elated
17:50 Adrasteia [46]: I know heatwaves.
17:50 Lunar Borealis [20]: I loved it lol, and I realized how much progress I had made that night
17:50 Lunar Borealis [20]: yeah basically it just looked like distortion of what was behind it
17:50 Lunar Borealis [20]: and not crazy distortion, subtle enough to miss
17:50 Adrasteia [46]: Sounds like an awesome night.
17:50 Adrasteia [46]: Really does menz.
17:51 Lunar Borealis [20]: yeah it was, and yet it was to become absolutely terrifying
17:51 Adrasteia [46]: O.o Plot twist.
17:51 Lunar Borealis [20]: But Im skipping ahead
17:51 Adrasteia [46]: Ok, dont leave anything out. xD
17:51 Lunar Borealis [20]: I was congratulating myself on my progress and thinking that the discoverey of what i looked like alone was enough to call it a night
17:52 Lunar Borealis [20]: I realized that I had been thinking a million miles an hour since separation, and loved the fact that I could just celebrate
17:52 Adrasteia [46]: Wait. Second.
17:52 Lunar Borealis [20]: k
17:52 Adrasteia [46]: You had to mediate rather deeply to reach the seperation.
17:52 Lunar Borealis [20]: exactly
17:52 Adrasteia [46]: Once you seperated. Were you still so deeply relaxed?
17:52 Adrasteia [46]: I mean, how active was your thinking?
17:52 Lunar Borealis [20]: no
17:52 Lunar Borealis [20]: well lets just put it this way
17:53 Lunar Borealis [20]: If thought and activity was enough to put me back like it had done so much before separation
17:53 Lunar Borealis [20]: I would have snapped back the moment I started seeing and floating around my ceiling and corner
17:53 Lunar Borealis [20]: because I was scared, disoriented, trying to think of what to do, registering 'hitting' the walls and ceiling, and thinking about what i was seeing, etc
17:54 Lunar Borealis [20]: I think that, because of this differentiation
17:54 Lunar Borealis [20]: relaxation is only needed up till full separation, because before that brain activity keeps you attached due to electrical impulses and their natural electro-magnetic effects
17:55 Lunar Borealis [20]: what still remains a mystery to me is the origin of thought outside the body
17:55 Adrasteia [46]: From what ive read of my "Astral Dynamics" book
17:55 Lunar Borealis [20]: I can only attribute that to the spiritual body or soul itself
17:56 Adrasteia [46]: The author of the books talks about many bodies.
17:56 Adrasteia [46]: One for each "astral plane"
17:56 Lunar Borealis [20]: hmm
17:56 Adrasteia [46]: And that body having a sort of "residual memory" of the real life body
17:56 Adrasteia [46]: Doesnt explain the origin of the though.
17:57 Adrasteia [46]: But i thought id throw what little i remember reading out there.
17:57 Adrasteia [46]: I think i could maybe find you a pdf copy of the book.
17:57 Adrasteia [46]: If you want.
17:57 Lunar Borealis [20]: perhaps residual memory of the body is responsible for thought and that the soul does not naturally 'think'
17:58 Adrasteia [46]: Id rather not find you the book though.
17:58 Lunar Borealis [20]: dont worry
17:58 Adrasteia [46]: You learn all this shit on your own for the most part it seems to me.
17:58 Lunar Borealis [20]: i think its the best way :P
17:58 Adrasteia [46]: Id rather not mess up your ideas by throwing others into them.
17:58 Lunar Borealis [20]: o trust me ive read some whacked out shit, I know how to filter
17:59 Lunar Borealis [20]: damn i ran out of mushrooms
17:59 Adrasteia [46]: Lol. Go kill some dwarfs or buy some in edron.
18:01 Lunar Borealis [20]: k im good
18:01 Lunar Borealis [20]: so what i did to celebrate, lol
18:02 Lunar Borealis [20]: was float around hitting the walls and cieling and everything chaotically lol
18:02 Lunar Borealis [20]: it was fun as hell, but kind of stupid after I thought about it later lol
18:03 Lunar Borealis [20]: I did not know if damage could be done to that body but there I was slamming around, thankfully there is no damage from that lol
18:03 Lunar Borealis [20]: but eventually I settled down
18:03 Lunar Borealis [20]: and practiced floating from point to point
18:03 Lunar Borealis [20]: and got that down
18:04 Lunar Borealis [20]: whereas before I would float around to a point while looking in different directions or turning uncontrollably
18:04 Lunar Borealis [20]: after that I could float directly to and face my destination
18:04 Lunar Borealis [20]: if I wanted to go fast though, it was harder to control and I would turn more randomly or move off a bit
18:05 Lunar Borealis [20]: But I decided at that point to call it, because I didnt want to do too much that I could not remember the details of
18:05 Lunar Borealis [20]: and I further didnt know if there was a limit to which I could stay 'out'
18:06 Lunar Borealis [20]: so to play it safe I decided to return, and floating directly above and then landed on my body on the bed facing up and thought of returning, of reattaching, or waking up
18:06 Lunar Borealis [20]: of waking up*
18:06 Lunar Borealis [20]: nothing happened
18:06 Lunar Borealis [20]: I decided maybe I was trying too hard and just let go, relaxed thought and effort, and still nothing happened
18:07 Lunar Borealis [20]: after about a minute of peace, such was interrupted with a sharp pang of panic
18:07 Lunar Borealis [20]: 'I cant get back' raced through my head
18:07 Lunar Borealis [20]: and I started freaking out
18:07 Adrasteia [46]: :/
18:07 Lunar Borealis [20]: I tried for what seemed like an eternity
18:07 Adrasteia [46]: Too be honest, I wouldnt mind not getting back.
18:07 Lunar Borealis [20]: longer than i had been out up to that point even, to get back
18:08 Lunar Borealis [20]: I was different, wanted more than anything to share my discovery with people, especialy with Brianne
18:09 Lunar Borealis [20]: who I was terribly in love with at the time ;)
18:09 Adrasteia [46]: I can understand that.
18:09 Lunar Borealis [20]: Eventually I just broke down and sort of cried lol
18:09 Lunar Borealis [20]: I was thinking about and through my entire life, and realized that there was so much I still wanted to do
18:09 Adrasteia [46]: The chance to leave my body forever in my eyes, would be a chance I couldnt pass up.
18:09 Adrasteia [46]: Who would know if the chance would ever come again.
18:10 Lunar Borealis [20]: Personally I believe that once you die your out but once you die you cant come back to this
18:10 Lunar Borealis [20]: so that you midas well enjoy this before you are kicked out so to speak
18:10 Adrasteia [46]: My views are different on that.
18:10 Adrasteia [46]: Ive od'd before.
18:10 Adrasteia [46]: Od'ing changed my view on death quite a bit, but meh.
18:10 Adrasteia [46]: Continue story please.
18:11 Lunar Borealis [20]: k
18:11 Lunar Borealis [20]: I calmed down and found it ironic that I couldnt get back
18:11 Lunar Borealis [20]: I even considered that my body was dead
18:11 Lunar Borealis [20]: and wondered if that was why I got out to begin with
18:12 Lunar Borealis [20]: but then after analyzing the process I realized that couldnt be, unless I was messing with something that i shouldnt have been and unwittingly killed myself
18:12 Lunar Borealis [20]: in either case I decided that oh well, I midas well get over it
18:12 Adrasteia [46]: Lol :D
18:12 Lunar Borealis [20]: I realized that I should just be thankful that there was something after death
18:12 Lunar Borealis [20]: so I no longer had to worry about that
18:12 Adrasteia [46]: What a great way to look at it. >.> lol
18:13 Adrasteia [46]: Well... at least THATS out of the way lol
18:13 Lunar Borealis [20]: hehe
18:13 Lunar Borealis [20]: I resigned and silenced thought, and, bam
18:13 Lunar Borealis [20]: Suddenly I was in SP and slowly waking up from it
18:14 Lunar Borealis [20]: like piece of my body at a time
18:14 Lunar Borealis [20]: All i could think of at that point, though
18:14 Lunar Borealis [20]: 'I wonder if, if god existed, he did that to me intentionally to make me appreciate things'
18:14 Lunar Borealis [20]: I got out of SP and slowly sat up in my bed
18:14 Adrasteia [46]: :o
18:15 Lunar Borealis [20]: and my room was lit up
18:15 Lunar Borealis [20]: but i remember turning out the light - I always did that
18:15 Adrasteia [46]: How long had you been asleep?
18:15 Lunar Borealis [20]: 3 hrs
18:15 Adrasteia [46]: How long was each portion?
18:15 Lunar Borealis [20]: midnight to 3:20 A.M.
18:16 Lunar Borealis [20]: midnight was the last time I looked at the clock, 3:20 AM was when I looked at it again once I sat up in bed after waking from SP
18:16 Adrasteia [46]: If you had to guess, how long were you in sp, dark zone and everything.
18:16 Lunar Borealis [20]: I dont know how long each portion was due to time dilation, and in fact I was shocked to find only 3 hours had passed...i could swear it had been at least 10
18:16 Adrasteia [46]: Mmm sucks to hear.
18:17 Lunar Borealis [20]: 60 min to sp, 10 min in dark state, 10 in floating, 5 in separation
18:17 Lunar Borealis [20]: 10 min to wake up from the sp after
18:18 Lunar Borealis [20]: I dont know what that leaves
18:18 Adrasteia [46]: 1:35 right there.
18:18 Lunar Borealis [20]: so anyway I was like 'fuck it' and reached for the pad and started writing, furiously
18:18 Adrasteia [46]: Leaves a little less than 2 hrs.
18:18 Lunar Borealis [20]: not bad
18:19 Lunar Borealis [20]: I realized there were no shadows from my hand on the paper - it was often quite annoying cuz the light was behind me and it was easier to write when the light was directly on it while half awake
18:19 Adrasteia [46]: Wait...
18:19 Lunar Borealis [20]: I was like 'wtf i can see just fine' and looked to see that my light was not on, but everything had an orange hue to it
18:19 Adrasteia [46]: False awakening?
18:19 Lunar Borealis [20]: u'll see
18:19 Adrasteia [46]: Went from ap to a ld?
18:19 Adrasteia [46]: :/
18:20 Adrasteia [46]: Keep going, ignore my notes.
18:20 Adrasteia [46]: >.>
18:20 Lunar Borealis [20]: I looked around my room and again the light was coming from my window
18:20 Lunar Borealis [20]: I was confused as all hell cuz it was 3:20 in the morning, the sun should not have been out
18:20 Lunar Borealis [20]: let alone sunset light
18:20 Lunar Borealis [20]: (you know how it tends to be orangish)
18:20 Adrasteia [46]: Yea.
18:21 Lunar Borealis [20]: I wondered if I had really slept that long and if my clock had reset due to power outage or whatever, because that would make more sense
18:21 Lunar Borealis [20]: it certainly seemed long enough
18:21 Lunar Borealis [20]: but a check to my wristwatch on my table near the lamp proved otherwise
18:21 Lunar Borealis [20]: I looked at my pad and paper, and still, it was the same
18:21 Lunar Borealis [20]: looked away, looked back, started doing RC's
18:21 Lunar Borealis [20]: I was definitely awake
18:22 Lunar Borealis [20]: With a pang of terror I wondered if I had woken wrong and my vision and who knows what else were permanetly messed up
18:22 Adrasteia [46]: Improved awareness from the experience?
18:22 Lunar Borealis [20]: like a burnout from acid or something
18:22 Lunar Borealis [20]: I tested my motor functions while laying on my bed, sat up, moved my fingers, everything,
18:22 Lunar Borealis [20]: hell i even checked my pulse and really, everything was fine
18:23 Lunar Borealis [20]: it was then i noticed it
18:23 Lunar Borealis [20]: coming from the SouthEast corner of my cieling
18:23 Adrasteia [46]: O.o
18:23 Adrasteia [46]: That scares me a tad bit.
18:23 Lunar Borealis [20]: black tentacle like shadows creeping along the upper south wall towards the west wall - where my bed was
18:23 Lunar Borealis [20]: a darkness with black moving tentacle shadows at its forefront
18:24 Lunar Borealis [20]: it started spreading along my cieling to the opposite corner (NW) and also along the E wall to the N upper wall
18:24 Adrasteia [46]: Hypnapompic imagery?
18:24 Adrasteia [46]: Old hag?
18:24 Lunar Borealis [20]: nah
18:24 Lunar Borealis [20]: needless to say I started freaking out
18:24 Adrasteia [46]: Needless to say for sure.
18:24 Lunar Borealis [20]: because it was getting closer to me (bed was on the E side)
18:25 Lunar Borealis [20]: I moved quickly to the end of the bed (roughly in the middle of the room) and watched it creep down the E wall
18:25 Lunar Borealis [20]: and along the bed
18:25 Lunar Borealis [20]: to me
18:25 Adrasteia [46]: Gives me shivers jsut reading it. Especially since i picture everything i read and hear in my mind.
18:25 Lunar Borealis [20]: there was no sound, no nothing, but how it looked was terrifying enough
18:25 Lunar Borealis [20]: I grabbed my blanket and buried myself under it, and passed out lol
18:25 Lunar Borealis [20]: out of fear
18:26 Lunar Borealis [20]: I woke up in the same spot, laying down one arm touching the floor
18:26 Lunar Borealis [20]: I realized that everything was dark like shadow - much the same the tentacle thing 'painted' the room as it spread
18:27 Lunar Borealis [20]: and wondered if it had consumed the room and myself and who knows what else
18:27 Adrasteia [46]: So... you had a nightmare? Were you really awake?
18:27 Lunar Borealis [20]: I rushed to turn on my light, and it turned on just fine
18:27 Lunar Borealis [20]: and there it was
18:27 Lunar Borealis [20]: my notebook, with everything I had written still intact
18:27 Adrasteia [46]: :o
18:27 Lunar Borealis [20]: thats why i dont think it was a false awakening
18:27 Lunar Borealis [20]: what I think it was
18:27 Adrasteia [46]: :/
18:28 Lunar Borealis [20]: and i quote my notebook
18:28 Lunar Borealis [20]: (because its sitting in front of me lol, old, haggard piece of shit'
18:28 Lunar Borealis [20]: )*
18:28 Adrasteia [46]: Omfg hahahaha xD
18:28 Lunar Borealis [20]: 'it was not a tentacle shadow being as I thought but more like a restoration of normal, waking vision'
18:29 Lunar Borealis [20]: 'the orange hue vision I percieved earlier can only be considered a sort of 'carryover' from my visit to the other side, something I should be thankful for discovering alongside the discoveries of my projection'
18:29 Adrasteia [46]: So... the light was leftover remnants from the dream?
18:29 Adrasteia [46]: the projection i mean
18:29 Lunar Borealis [20]: I think so
18:29 Lunar Borealis [20]: and that what I percieved as the tentacles was a sort of wearing off of that
18:30 Lunar Borealis [20]: oh check this
18:30 Lunar Borealis [20]: 'however remains unanswered the seeming origin of the shadow'
18:30 Lunar Borealis [20]: which was the corner
18:30 Adrasteia [46]: hmm
18:30 Adrasteia [46]: good notice
18:30 Adrasteia [46]: :/
18:30 Lunar Borealis [20]: the only thing i can think of is that such wearing off has to start somewhere, but why not from multiple points
18:31 Lunar Borealis [20]: 'the orange hue light, notably complementing the bluish hue from the projection, was truly sufficient to write legibly in, and indeed i had at first mistaken it to be light from my lamp'
18:32 Adrasteia [46]: very interesting experience
18:32 Adrasteia [46]: Very well told.
18:32 Lunar Borealis [20]: life-changing :)
18:32 Lunar Borealis [20]: thanks lol
18:33 Lunar Borealis [20]: tho a lot of it is pretty much quoted from the notebook
18:33 Adrasteia [46]: Dont mind if i share it do you?
18:33 Adrasteia [46]: :o
18:33 Lunar Borealis [20]: depends on with who
18:33 Adrasteia [46]: Regardless of how slow ld4all is, i try and help people there.
18:33 Adrasteia [46]: >.>
18:33 Adrasteia [46]: I was goonna upload for poeple in chat to read.
18:33 Adrasteia [46]: See what they think.
18:33 Lunar Borealis [20]: fuck it
18:33 Lunar Borealis [20]: i was gonna say 'sure as long as i get credit'
18:33 Adrasteia [46]: ?
18:34 Adrasteia [46]: Of course you would get credit.
18:34 Lunar Borealis [20]: but there is no need for credit for the spread of knowledge
18:34 Lunar Borealis [20]: no, credit is hampering to the true spread of knowledge
18:34 Lunar Borealis [20]: anonymity is pure
18:34 Lunar Borealis [20]: do it do it do it lol
