This is a (somewhat experimental) linux build of psi 0.11-RC1
To install it you need write permissions to /opt/psi-0.11-RC1
(e.g. root permissions or root needs to create /opt/psi-0.11-RC1 and change
the owner/permission so you can write)
download qt4.2.3_run.tar.bz2 and psi-0.11-RC1.tar.bz2 and run
su
tar -C / -xjf qt4.2.3_run.tar.bz2
tar -C / -xjf psi-0.11-RC1.tar.bz2
in the directory where you saved the downloaded files.
dependencies of this build:
This build bundles most of the needed libraries.
The other libraries needed should be availible in most linux distributions.
apart from the X11 libaries that normal system with graphical user interface
should normaly have installed by default you might need to install a support
package for the older standard c++ library that is used.
Debian:
etch: libstdc++5
Fedora:
FC3: compat-libc++-8
FC4-6: compat-libstdc++-33
Other Distributions will have similar packages names.
