>Shane,

He is right. Creating a we are here site isnt a good sign of a highly technical company.
>Shane, you probably should monitor the DoD SBIR website, see >http://www.acq.osd.mil/sadbu/sbir/solicitations/index.htm The next date of interest is May 1 >when they release the 2006.2 presolicitation, though we probably can identify some of the topics >before then if we have a specific project in mind. We also >have to consider the bid costs (around $10k or so) and risk relative to the potential gain (a >phase I SBIR project for $100k Yes, I know they say $850k, thats another one of those pesky >details.. --). I know Andrew and I are the most technical people in the company and can develop a myriad of products based on top of our skills. I was hoping that wouldnt be a limitation as to who should be finding SBIR possibilities. I also hope you werent expecting SBIR ideas to just come out of the ether the other day or during any of your time with TDXNet so far. We dont have meetings on these kind of things with you and Ron on a regular basis, nor do Andrew and I monitor what kind of opportunities are available for us to go after since we are for the most part handling one emergency after another at this point. My day to day duties for the last two years have been to maintain TDXs communications infrastructure while being overwhelmed with emergencies like we are having right now with our sat television feeds. I need assistance from you as our business developer to help TDXNet via myself and Andrew discover potential SBIR avenues that match or challenge our core competencies. The DOD SBIR website is a good list for us to all get very familiar with, however its going to take me a while to adjust into reading, hopefully I will get somewhere on this by Friday and we can have some sort of discussion basis for some SBIR topics.
