Why should current beds be able to be edited? SHouldn't they not be able to be edited since it is current?
Current beds must be allowed to be edited. A clear cut example would be a plot of vegetables planted in day one, and go bad in the next few days. It wouldn't be feasbile to let that plot stay in its current condition for the next few months until the quarter is up. The gardener, I believe, would want to be able to edit the current bed and change the details of that plot immediately. In our interface, we allow the user to do so, without having to go through lengthy steps into adding a new plot from the start. This creates flexibility around the user and makes him feel more comfortable without having to do extra work in creating a whole new bed from scratch.
