It looks like 'p2psmon -userDb' will dump it to file , the tricky part I was working on was determining when the dump has actually completed to read the file. When I would read the file immediately after calling the dump command I could only get 2 lines of useless info. The p2psmon process would signal the p2ps process in shared memory to dump the contents to file. The p2psmon process would write the head of a file with an EOF character, then the p2ps process would open and write to the same file after it had compiled its dump results. I was struggling to get around this before I left, but late last night I was reminded of UNIX pipes!
mkfifo /app/gmd/data/rmds/user.dmp;

cat /app/gmd/data/rmds/user.dmp

p2psmon -dumpDb
