Is there any "Getting Started" guide for Qt? I haven't found squat on the web site and I
can't seem to find anything in my searches.

What I really need is an explanation of Qt code, how to link it to the form, and how to
make my own functions for my own methods.

Like hitting a button calls my own function rather than a predefined function that the Qt
desinger provides. I need to be able to get the system clock when I push the button but
in the designer there seems to be no way that I have found to create my own functions.

(Example: I set the method, onclick(), and in the window to the right it asks for another
function predefined by the designer. I want to be able to add my own in the right window
but I don't know how.)

As for other problems, I have viewed the demo in the main web site, but I don't know
how they link the .cpp file and the .ui file. Nor do I know what the code they write
actually does as they do not explain it. The link to that video is the only thing I've found.

They do everything so fast and they know what they are doing, but they don't explain
what they're doing and all I can do is watch.

So can you answer how I do these things?
