My short term goals are short and sweet. This summer, aside from work, I plan on practicing as much as possible. Also this summer, I plan on playing in a group called Emanon with some friends of mine and getting some good performance practice.
I hope and plan on being a jazz music major, particularly in the performance area. I have also had some interest in composition, but not nearly as much as I am in performing. Words cannot express how much I enjoy playing jazz.
I believe that Collin County Community College is a big stepping stone in my music career. I have been there several times for Jazz camp concerts, regular concerts, and to meet up with friends. I believe it would be a great environment for me to study in at first because there are not a whole lot of students. I believe that getting criticism personally is the best tool to becoming a better musician, and not mass-lecture.
