Hi,

I'm trying to reproduce the automated build process described in
http://www.eclipse.org/articles/Article-PDE-Automation/automation.html with
the current (3.3M6) versions of all related components. Here is what I did so
far: 

- created /home/vwegert/eclipse
- extracted 3.3M6 SDK to /home/vwegert/eclipse/eclipse-3.3M6
- checked out appropriate version of org.eclipse.releng.eclipsebuilder 
  into /home/vwegert/eclipse/org.eclipse.releng.eclipsebuilder
- created build target directory /home/vwegert/eclipse/build

Then I tried to execute the following commands:

export ECLIPSE_HOME="/home/vwegert/eclipse/eclipse-3.3.M6"
cd /home/vwegert/eclipse/org.eclipse.releng.eclipsebuilder
java -cp ${ECLIPSE_HOME}/plugins/org.eclipse.platform_3.2.100.v20070316/startup.jar \
      org.eclipse.core.launcher.Main \
     -application org.eclipse.ant.core.antRunner \
     -buildfile build.xml \
     -Dcomponent=sdk.examples \
     -Dconfigs="*,*,*" \
     -Dbaseos=linux \
     -Dbasews=gtk \
     -Dbasearch=x86 \
     -Djavacfailonerror=true \
     -Dpde.build.scripts=${ECLIPSE_HOME}/plugins/org.eclipse.pde.build_3.3.0.v20070322/scripts \
     -DbaseLocation=${ECLIPSE_HOME} \
     -DbuildDirectory=/home/vwegert/eclipse/build

Problem: This process dies silently after less than a second. I tried
narrowing down the call to 

java -cp ${ECLIPSE_HOME}/plugins/org.eclipse.platform_3.2.100.v20070316/startup.jar \
      org.eclipse.core.launcher.Main -consoleLog

Same problem. What am I doing wrong?
