This page is a proof of concept of the huge potential of a metapackage handler - developed by Benjamin Weber. With this technology users can install packages and add repositories with a simple click on a link in a website. The link leads to an xml-file that holds the information about which repositories to add and which packages to install. It can be likened to an extremely easy to use, online addon-cd, from a user perspective. This can help solve a number of the biggest problems for openSUSE.<br><br>

To test this you're required to install <a href="http://bw.uwcs.co.uk/mp/yast2-mpp-0.0-0.suse102.noarch.rpm" target="_blank">this package</a>. It includes the necessary YaST module and it will make Konqueror support the above mentioned xml-file (ymp). Support for Firefox, Opera and perhaps other browsers is not yet available, but is very possible.
