Less than a week ago a new system of governance for the SOSDG was implemented by majority vote of the council. This system, not even fully implemented yet has been since the vote under constant attack from the one dissenting member of the council with similar and dissimilar systems of governance which would obliterate the as-yet-untried system. I am calling a vote to begin tomorrow night 4/26/07 at 9pm and end at 11pm quashing any and all proposals of new systems of governance, or changes to the current "Pass the Cookie" system of governance for a period of 6 months retroactive to 11PM EST 4/23/07, and extending (For convenience) to 11/1/07.
The effect of this will be as follows, no proposals after the closure of the vote entitled VOTE will be considered by the board, or acted on in any manner. These proposals may be reconsidered after 11/1/07.
Further to this effort a chair person to track vote results, declare voting periods, and manage the council is needed. I am suggesting myself for this position, however due to the critical nature of stable governance I cannot in good conscience abstain from this vote.
