Postgres Vs Mysql

Can mysql friends be modified to use postgres so the sip users/iax can be loaded on the fly from the backend

can mysql VM crap be modified to store in prostgres

Does Postgres support replication? Seems it does but how well does it work versus a primary/slave model of mysql
