Well I already told you about the server I got invited to be admin on. It was viKKmans pen1ls server, which means Public Enemy Number One - Los Santos. I left that server as well though. My reason? Well I got three: First one is that he evicted me from my house, second is that at that house was my idea of having a helicopter spawn, third being I was only a low level admin, but the main one being that it wasn't that fun, only a few players. So I tried setting up my own server. Didn't work. I blame the router for that. But it did find me my next position in SA-MP. While looking on the forums, trying to find how to get my server to run from my computer, I saw a name I recognised, JaTochNietDan. I knew him from SF:Fugitive. I clicked on his name and was pleasantly surprised. He had a server, maybe he could help me. So I signed on to his server and was greeted with a mixture of enthusiam and surprise. It's nice to be welcomed like that. Anyway we tried to get it working. We couldn't get it to go. Now what was I supposed to do. But then we had a lightbulb moment. Why didn't I help JaTochNietDan run his server? I accepted and now I am head scripter and joint leader of a pen1ls server. I may not be the best scripter by far, when I accepted the position I could do very little. Now I can still do very little in the scheme of things, but now I can add cars, motorbikes, helicopters, planes and weapon pickups to the game. Now my house on the server has a housecar (turismo), a family car (stratum), limosine (stretch), convertible (windsor) and a helicopter (maverick). I just remembered a minigun also appears in the en suite of my master bedroom in my open plan villa. I still have a long way to go with scripting, but I have ideas. Those I shall keep to myself until I have the knowledge to make these ideas reality, well virtual. All I can say now is that I think I am going to be happy with this new server, aka "JaTochNietDans & Randys Pen1 Server". This boy is back in town.
