Hi
I'm part of the effort called opensuse-community. We aim to unify the openSUSE community more to avoid dublication of effort, make it easier for new users to find documentation etc., to have a more efficient community.
We noticed that kamatsu was leaving and was advertising for a replacement admin. So we wrote kamatsu and asked him to use this opportunity to encourage people to use the official wiki at opensuse.org and the "official unofficial" wiki at opensuse-community.org. Kamatsu answered that you were very keen on keeping susewiki.org going, therefore that wasn't possible.
This confused us a bit, since from what we understood before, you were pretty much willing to merge with the official wiki, but kamatsu was the one who was against it.
So we would like to ask again about your position to clear up the confusion.
And we would encourage you to cease the effort to find a new admin for susewiki.org and instead refer people to opensuse.org - and opensuse-community.org. The sole purpose of the latter is for information that can't go on opensuse.org for legal considerations.
We would merge your articles into the official wiki(s).
Best regards
Martin
