[15:22] Apollo Aridian:

Greetings everyone.... please be seated, we're about to begin.

Okay, thank you all for coming. The purpose of this Town Hall is to provide a community forum for the sharing of information. To that end, we will begin with speeches and some announcements about upcoming projects and events, and then open up a public question and answer session.

During this meeting, can you please try to keep the general chat to a minimum so that everyone can follow the current speaker. When we get to Q&A time, further instructions will be given about directing your questions.

I first came to the Dragon Isles in late August 2006, after my lovely Aradia surprised me by transforming into a Hydra Wyrmling in our garden. Since then, we've both been hooked on the creative atmosphere here, and the majesty of the avatars.

While I haven't been here as long as some, I've still been fortunate to see a lot of growth and positive change in the Isles, in both the depth of the avatars and the strength of the community here. Attendance at release events has been growing steadily, with approximately 500 hopefuls at the last release, and 340 added to the Council of Wyrms alone since December.

The Isles continue to grow as a community too. Lethe is largely rented out and demand for dragon apartments is high enough that the new sim, Lyre, will be another residential area upon its completion.

We now have well over 1000 Wyrms, almost 950 Wyrmlings and over 450 Hatchlings according to the group stats, and nearly 500 members of the Isle of Wyrms Citizens group. Through the raids and new Dragon Clans we are becoming more widely known to the larger SL populace.

Everybody who enjoys the Isles, anyone who contributes in some way, all of you who are active in the community should be proud of what you are helping to create. The Isles can grow and be even grander in the coming year and all of you will help to shape it.

I would like to personally thank all the IoW Volunteers, Guides and Mentors for the outstanding job they do, guiding and assisting newcomers and making their integration into the community a smooth and fun process. You guys are amazing. :)

I would also like to thank all the Guardians, Elders and our Great Hedgewyrm for making all of this possible to begin with. Remember, Guardians are people too, and dedicate so much of their time and energy to our home.

2007 promises to be a fun and exciting year for the Isle of Wyrms. In closing, I'd like to thank all of you, the Citizens, for breathing life into this world. We have some fun community projects in the works, which we'd like to talk a little about before moving onto the Q&A session.

  --Apollo Aridian pauses for breath

I'd like to hand you over now to our Great Hedgewyrm :D

  --Apollo Aridian steps back

[15:32] Daryth Kennedy smiles and steps up

Greeting everyone ^.^ I'm not a hedgewyrm of many words, I don’t quite have a beautiful speech like Apollo's prepared, which is why he makes such a wonderful mayor ^.^

I would like to quickly thank everyone for attending our first Town Hall meeting, the community here on the Isle of Wyrms continues to grow and get better and bigger each day because of the contributions of each and every community member ^.^

I would simply like to express my deepest gratitude and appreciation for the inspiration everyone has contributed to build our community, and would like to welcome anyone who is new and would like to become a bigger part of the community, please always feel that you can approach anyone on the isles with your ideas and suggestions ^.^

-- Daryth Kennedy isn’t a hedgie of many words at all it seems >.< but then, I would be public speaking then instead of making dragons if I were ;)

[15:42] Hallbjorn Klaar: Cheers!

[15:42] Windchaser Rhode: lol

[15:42] Wyoon Nico: and you have done that very well.

[15:43] Pagan Umarov: and wonderful dragons they are. ty

[15:43] Blue Zenovka: Wonderfully magically well!

[15:43] rmg Xeno: Here Here on that!

[15:43] Daryth Kennedy: ^.^

[15:43] Onix Harbinger: Daryth has the floor still, Let her speak ^.^

[15:43] Kalira Stromer: Please keep it down till Daryth is done.

[15:43] Daryth Kennedy sneaks off and hands the floor to Onix for a few words ^.^

[15:43] Onix Harbinger: Heh

[15:44] Helena Lycia: :)

[15:44] Onix Harbinger: Now if the lag will let me take the podium.... ^.^

[15:44] Kalira Stromer: Ramp on back for that

[15:44] Blue Zenovka: Hooray for Daryth!

[15:44] Khristen Lassard has a leash she can use on him.

[15:45] Onix Harbinger: Good enough. ^.^ Hello everyone, Thank you all for attending our very first Town Hall meeting. ^.^

It's been quite a time these past many months watching everything grow from it's infancy. I can tell you it's been a great adventure for me, and I've enjoyed watching it grow and seeing all the contributions everyone has made into making this a successful venture and thriving community. ^.^

A little over a year and a quarter ago I stumbled into my first sighting of one of Daryth's dragons. I was immediately hooked. After some searching and waiting I finally managed to obtain one myself and meet the generous creator behind them. I am very fortunate to have been the right dragon at the right time just as she needed me her ideas and visions began to take off at seeming warp speed. ^.^

I helped found the Guardians, and what would eventually become the citizen staff, and later helped established the Isle of Wyrms Citizens. I would like to give personal high praise to the other great minds, Talarus, Helena, Daza, Kalira.... more than I can name in a timely speech... but trust me you are all loved and admired by me and Daryth for all of your hard work and dedication. We look forward to seeing everyone's efforts in the future with wide-eyed fascination as this great thing continues to take shape before us.

I want to thank you, our community, and our customers without whom we would be very bored and lonely. ^.^ You all inspire us to persevere and continue to strive towards making new things and finding new ways to make this island a fun and enjoyable place to be. ^.^

Before I get to rambling on too much, I would like to round my speech up with a mention of things to come. We are undergoing some reorganization. Our civilian/citizen staff is growing in responsibilities, while the Guardians step back to handle technical and peacekeeping matters. We will soon be instituting a new High Council group which will be lead by Apollo, Our Mayor, which will help organize and run our community. More information on the reorganization and all the changes will be posted as time goes on.

In closing, I want everyone here to know that I am and will always be approachable for questions and comments. My door is open to you all. If I happen to be off-duty or busy at the time. Just drop me an IM asking for a meeting and we can arrange some time to talk. Thank you very much.

I will now turn the floor over to Kalira for her contribution. ^.^

[15:59] Kalira Stromer: Greetings everyone :) For those who don’t know me I am Kalira. My main duties on the isle are.... well... allot of stuff i have no need to list :) Though a couple things i would like to cover. First off is the other positions in the citizens group other then just guest and Citizen

Something you can strive for if you feel you wish to make more of a contribution to the Isle.

This is the role of Guide. Some of our most noted citizens who have stepped up as helpers and community leaders are chosen as guides to be able to help the community further.

I can honestly say it isn’t easy to reach this but it is well worth it if you work hard toward it :)

Some of those who have contributed to the isle as a guide will make Mentor. The Mentors help with special projects and help us guardians in many tasks we are too busy to do.

The Mentors have proven themselves and their dedication to the isle and its community :)

Another role anyone can obtain is to become a Volunteer. We have a special role for this in the citizens group. Volunteers only need a desire to help out :)

So that is a brief over view of the other citizen group positions. If you ever want to discuss them with me I’m always willing to :)

Also if you need something .. And you can’t find any guardians around you can always seek the assistance of the Guides and Mentors. They are there to help you in any way they can :)

And if they cant help you they know how to get hold of someone who can.

Next on things i wish to cover....

The Isle newspaper is in the works!

We have it starting to come together and do hope to have it ready to send out June 1st :) We need written contributions from any citizen who wants to offer assistance in this :)

For more info you can either see me or Aradia (Editor) or Shannan (Manager) to answer your questions.

And lastly the IoW Festival will happen on June 1st - 3rd This is going to be a massive event and we will be helping to raise money for Daryth's Charity, St. Tiggywinkles :)

The festival will have an over all carnival feel and more... We will have fire works and live concerts and even a HUGE game of Hatchie Egg Roll

[16:09] Daryth Kennedy: ^.^

[16:10] Pagan Umarov: and we can sell dragon rides?

[16:10] Kalira Stromer: We will also have a scavenger hunt and a IoW Formal ball :)

[16:10] Kalira Stromer: Please let me continue I have the floor.

[16:11] Apollo Aridian: there will be a Q&A session shortly, please remember your questions for then :)

[16:11] Kalira Stromer: Some other things of interest is the Clan Demos if some of you are interested in joining some of the Isle RP Clans :)

We will have clan demos at the festival for the Isle RP clans. This will give you the opportunity to see them in action and get info about them and also gives you the opportunity to join. :)

So keep your calendar marked for June 1st - 3rd. We will have some posters posted for it and some note cards passed around... Come and bring all your friends. And think about it as haven fun for a great cause :D

Lastly i would like to remind everyone of the Friday night events. Drum circles and Story circles alternating every week.

Come and be a part of the community and get to know people and build friendships. :)

I will now turn it back over to Apollo to manage the next section of the meeting.

[16:43] Apollo Aridian would like it back :)

[16:43] Daryth Kennedy smiles

[16:43] Kalira Stromer: Apollo... your stage... I’m frazzled :P

[16:43] Windchaser Rhode: lol

[16:43] Skye McArdle: :)

[16:43] Apollo Aridian wrestles with Kalira

[16:43] Onix Harbinger: ^.^

[16:43] Skye McArdle: xD

[16:44]----------------------------------------

[16:44] Apollo Aridian: okay dragons and dragonesses

  and everyone else :)

we will now have an open question and answer session.... but please wait for the rules of the format before speaking up

in order to avoid general chat descending into chaos, please IM me with your questions

I will direct specific people to speak

and someone from the panel here will answer...

  so any questions from before?

  IM me :D

up on the podium, where Kalira was... I am a hatchie :D

  --Apollo Aridian squeeks!

[16:49]----------------------------------------

[16:49] Apollo Aridian: okay a warm-up question from Savio.... while the rest of you think

  Savio ask your question

[16:50] Savio Spinotti: Question: Any updates on the Forest and Mech Dragons?

[16:51] Apollo Aridian: I think our Great Hedgewyrm is most qualified to answer :)

Usually questions about timing can be answered with "When it's done" though :)

[16:53] Daryth Kennedy: a good question ^.^ now that the steam dragon exists, I can say for certain the forest dragon will be before the mech dragon, and most likely the next species released. However, there will be no new adult dragons in the month of April, if it does come out, May is probably the month for the Forest Dragon

[16:54] Savio Spinotti: Thank you Daryth :D

[16:54] Apollo Aridian: cool, thank you Elder :)

[16:54]----------------------------------------

[16:54] Apollo Aridian: next up a question from FireFury Burns...

  Firefly... ask your question here

[16:54] Daryth Kennedy: There is a really good chance that we will see a new AV yet this month, it just wont be an adult dragon ^.^ The Storm Draconian (anthro storm dragon) is in the works, and I’m optimistically hoping to have egg out before the end of April ^.^

[16:55] Savio Spinotti: Oooh, first official anthro dragon

[16:55] Orlando Sirbu: Neato!

[16:55] Windchaser Rhode: ooo

[16:55] Apollo Aridian: that's excellent news too :D

[16:55] Savio Spinotti: Certainly is

[16:55] FireFury Burns: will there be a sim soon for a sand box to fly in and games in future

[16:56] Kalira Stromer: Fire... IM Apollo with question... we have said this numerous times.

[16:56] FireFury Burns: ?

[16:56] Apollo Aridian: Kalira or Onix for this one perhaps?

Sorry I gave Fire the floor

Did not realize Daryth wasn't done

  My apologies

[16:56] Daryth Kennedy: I answered a little late, my fault ^.^

[16:56] Apollo Aridian: no harm done :D

[16:57] Hallbjorn Klaar: The Question on the Floor: FireFury Burns: will there be a sim soon for a sand box to fly in and games in future?

[16:58] Apollo Aridian: I'm aware of some plans for the clans to have some interesting things going on that may constitute games of sort...

[16:58] Onix Harbinger: I'll answer. Yes there is currently a large Sandbox in Limbo, but we are also continually expanding. We will soon have OS sims and new neighbors linking up with us, and over time we will grow even more. ^.^

[16:59] FireFury Burns: :)

[16:59] Apollo Aridian: sounds cool

[17:00]----------------------------------------

[17:00] Apollo Aridian: Kalira did you want to add anything in regards to games for dragons?

I thought some of the plans for the clans might fit in that area possibly

[17:00] Kalira Stromer: Was it a question about a sandbox ? or about games ?

[17:00] Apollo Aridian: I think it was both :)

[17:00] Daryth Kennedy: within the next month we'll be adding four new OS sims, expanding the isles eastwards & attaching to the chain of mature elven sims :) cross-sim games that encompass the whole isle are a definite possibility ^.^

[17:01] Kalira Stromer: My Clan will use all the sims on the Isle for events.

[17:01] FireFury Burns: thank you!

[17:01] Apollo Aridian: :D

[17:02]----------------------------------------

[17:02] Apollo Aridian: we had a question from our own Skylarian...

Skylarian, please repeat your question here :D

[17:02] Skylarian Isachenko: Surely

Two of the most common questions lately from folk

are the Wyvern Adults included in the Solstice hatch and is there a timetable for the Wyvernling size to be available

[17:04] Apollo Aridian: A question for Daryth or Onix surely

[17:04] Onix Harbinger bides for Daryth

[17:06] Daryth Kennedy: The dragon solstice and equinox hatchings have become a treasured & memorable event for dragons, and we've decided to keep this solely a dragon experience. Wyvern eggs for current species will actually come out whenever a new Wyvern species is born. The next planned wyvern species are currently Solar and Lunar, and they'll hatch sometime in the coming seasons, before the years end. When they do, 10 of each of the Arctic and Desert will also hatch :)

[17:06] Savio Spinotti: Yay, new Wyvern species

[17:06] Windchaser Rhode: wow!

[17:07] Apollo Aridian: cool news :D

I think GantMan has a question

[17:07] Daryth Kennedy: the wyvernlings seems to have escaped off to our newest sim to the wide open land to play, and haven’t been seen for a while ... we assume they'll come back when they're hungry (read: its bean a really busy season, I really hope to have them done soon but only time will tell)

[17:08] Apollo Aridian: hehe awww

[17:08] Aradia Aridian: :)

[17:08] Apollo Aridian: We'll have to send a netting party for them :)

[17:08] Skylarian Isachenko: :) ponders good snacks for Wyvernlings

[17:08] Kalira Stromer: Live traps

[17:08] Orlando Sirbu: Heh

[17:08] Hallbjorn Klaar: Elves?

[17:09] FireFury Burns: lol

[17:09] Daryth Kennedy would eat a mushroom before an elf any day .... less weird dreams, and elves make better friends ^.^

[17:10] Windchaser Rhode: no elves.

[17:10] atilla Drebin: birds and cattle seem to be good food for wyverns

[17:10] Apollo Aridian: okay, GantMan has the floor now

[17:10] Petite Pixie notices the elves remark and winches

[17:10] Apollo Aridian: please repeat your question :D

[17:10] Windchaser Rhode: no birdies

[17:10] FireFury Burns: sheep

[17:10] Windchaser Rhode: sky's a bird

[17:10] Onix Harbinger: Order please ^.^

[17:10] Orlando Sirbu: SHHH!

[17:11]----------------------------------------

[17:11] GantMan Arrow: Okay, my question: I recall a time when Daryth sold flying pet dragons and other creations of hers here in the cathedral, Im wondering if those will become available again in the near future?

[17:11] Orlando Sirbu: The Familiars

[17:11] Skylarian Isachenko: No, Follower pets

[17:12] GantMan Arrow: no, pet dragons other than the familiars Orlando :)

[17:12] Apollo Aridian: please allow the panel to answer the question :)

[17:12] Onix Harbinger: Order please. Daryth has the floor. ^.^

[17:13] Daryth Kennedy: The flying pets can still be found on SLX and SLB, although they have disappeared from the cathedral during renovations. There is an updated version in the works with flexi wings that flap and better flight scripts for more than one pet, so they don’t crash into each other :)

[17:14] GantMan Arrow: great :)

[17:15] Daryth Kennedy: as always updates will be free, things do often develop very slowly around here but luckily the end result has always been good ^.^ it is a land of dragons after all, no need to rush ;)

[17:16] GantMan Arrow cant wait for a revamped follower :)

[17:16] Apollo Aridian: yes dragons are timeless :)

And working is better than quick :)

[17:17]----------------------------------------

[17:17] Apollo Aridian: now, we have an interesting question from Khristen

Khristen, please repeat your question here in general chat

[17:17] Khristen Lassard smiles. "Thank you."

I had a question about the "Council" groups that Apollo largely answered in IM, but...

I've been noticing a lot more other groups around and was wondering 1. are the old Council groups being phased out gradually?, and 2...

What really are the Council groups meant for, if group IMs or notices, or even votes, are largely not used to any great extent?

  --Khristen Lassard is done.

[17:19] Apollo Aridian: Onix has the floor for this one

[17:21] Onix Harbinger: We will continue to keep the Council of Wyrms, Wyrmlings, and Wyrm Hatchlings. They will continue to evolve with the new developments. We are currently undergoing some reorganization and will soon have a new High Council, which will contain the island community leaders and representatives from the Guild Hall (more on that another time). We are maintaining the various council groups though with the intent of providing future services, possible discounts, and other feeps and features to our customers.

Does that answer your question? ^.^

[17:22] Khristen Lassard: Yes, with one follow-on note I'd like to add?

[17:23] Apollo Aridian: okay

[17:24] Khristen Lassard: Can the powers that be, please... make some effort to at least use the Council communication facilities... like maybe votes, since I know Notices won't work with such a large group, to make meetings like this known?

I almost missed this meeting because I am not here that often enough to have seen that rather large plaquard announcement.

[17:24] Daryth Kennedy: One thing to note is that the Council of Wyrms, Wyrmlings and Hatchlings are similar groups for a reason, and will generally receive the same notices, so once you're in the Wyrms group, you don’t need to keep the others unless you want to keep the title :) For community events like this meeting, joining the Citizens group or the online forums is a good idea.

[17:25] Onix Harbinger: We have a chat-okay group in the Isle of Wyrms Citizens, as well as the Isle of Wyrms Help forum. ^.^

[17:25] Khristen Lassard: May I respond to that though?

[17:25] Onix Harbinger: Our events are announced in the Isle of Wyrms Citizens group by and large. ^.^

[17:25] Apollo Aridian: There was a "persistent" group Blue popup Notice advertising this meeting...

[17:26] Onix Harbinger: Yes.

[17:26] Khristen Lassard: Thank you.

[17:26] Apollo Aridian: those should appear the first time you log on after the notice has been sent... and we have a citizens forum too :D

[17:26] Daryth Kennedy: One thing I have come to understand is not all 1000 people in the Council of Wyrms wish to play an active role in the community, some just want a dragon & to be left in peace. To join the Citizens group or the forums is how we can tell if someone is interested in an event like the Town Hall meeting today.

[17:26] Kalira Stromer: It would help her to join the citizens group.

[17:27] Khristen Lassard: My concern is... that I am quite literally FULL-UP with groups and cannot join the Citizens group. I had thought that being a member of the Council of Wyrms group would be sufficient.

[17:28] Daryth Kennedy: The quickest, simplest way to get information, no groups necessary, is: http://www.isleofwyrms.com/

[17:28] Apollo Aridian: We'll make a note of that concern for future reference

[17:28] Onix Harbinger: Daryth is going to answer. ^.^

[17:28] Apollo Aridian: we're constantly evaluating ways to better communicate with our Citizens

[17:28] Khristen Lassard: Thank you. It just seems so simple to pass over the Council Groups with notices via votes or some such.

[17:29] Daryth Kennedy: The town hall meeting, along with any important events that may happen in the future, can be found on the Isle of Wyrms homepage http://www.isleofwyrms.com/ as well as signs posted all about the isles :)

[17:29] Apollo Aridian: Being part of the Citizens group is certainly the best way, though

[17:29] Kalira Stromer: The sad part is allot of those on the council groups are there for the AVs... not the community

[17:30] Savio Spinotti: And that's why you join the Citizens group :)

[17:30] Kalira Stromer: The citizens group is centered in the community and is the direct link to the community for events.

[17:30] Apollo Aridian: .... but I'd like to move the meeting along now, if no-one objects... Khristen you can certain discuss privately afterwards if you have anything further to contribute :D

[17:30] Daryth Kennedy: If you'd like to take part in helping organize an event or volunteering, the forums are a great place to start: http://www.daryth.com/council/

[17:30] Apollo Aridian: ... once our Hedgewyrm has finished, naturally :D

[17:30] Daryth Kennedy is finished ^.^

[17:30] Khristen Lassard sighs and nods, thinking no one heard her about not having any free groups available to join, but allows her topic to rest.

[17:31] Apollo Aridian: I'm maxed too....

  Thank you, Elder :)

[17:31] Kalira Stromer: Daryth just gave you a URL for off SL announcements

[17:31]----------------------------------------

[17:31] Apollo Aridian: I have a comment to forward from someone who was here before the crashing

Wyoon Nico: I would like the say My compliments go out to the person or persons responsible for the creation of the crystal cave of sorts under the dance club just left of here. It’s nice. I totally missed it for the longest time. Wonderful creation

Also echoing that myself, I think that space is a work of art, and you should check it out if you haven't seen it :D

[17:33] Savio Spinotti: I believe I've seen it, yes - very cool :)

[17:33] Aradia Aridian: it is my favorite place

[17:33] Orlando Sirbu: will do :)

[17:33] Windchaser Rhode: it's a good place to rest

[17:34] Apollo Aridian: :D

[17:34] Savio Spinotti: So much to explore here ... the volcano, the crystal cave, the crypt right under this Cathedral

  Among others

[17:34] Apollo Aridian nods

[17:34] Orlando Sirbu: crypt?

[17:34] Windchaser Rhode: volcano?

[17:34] Apollo Aridian whistles innocently

[17:34] Savio Spinotti: lol

[17:34] Apollo Aridian: okay, for our final question

[17:34] Onix Harbinger: Ruins, dungeon, more to come... we're still decorating. Daryth has the floor btw. ^.^

[17:35] Apollo Aridian: ohh, Daryth

[17:35] Daryth Kennedy: its designed to be a relaxing spot for anyone to enjoy, Helena made the crystals, they're brilliant ^.^ they slowly change colors based on the position of the sun, so the room is never exactly the same shade one moment to the next :)

[17:36]----------------------------------------

[17:36] Ryu Darragh: I have a question. Will Helena be selling Crystals ? i have a weakness for shinnies ^.^

[17:36] Windchaser Rhode: likewise

[17:36] Daryth Kennedy: yes :D she'll have a vendor in the new market ^.^

[17:36] Ryu Darragh: Yay!

[17:36] Savio Spinotti: Neato

[17:36] Orlando Sirbu: *joy*

[17:36] Windchaser Rhode: where?

[17:36] Helena Lycia: I have 5 different varieties of crystals ready

They will be for sale in the market, once it's open (and I've created a new vendor)

[17:37] Windchaser Rhode: ok

[17:37]----------------------------------------

[17:37] Orlando Sirbu: One final question Apollo?

[17:37] Apollo Aridian: yes

I was letting Helena speak as it was still relevant to the comment I passed on :D

[17:38] Orlando Sirbu: ok :D

[17:38] Apollo Aridian: but yes, our Storyteller, David, has a question

[17:38] Daryth Kennedy: the new crystals are beautiful, I'll make sure the market is open soon I promise ^.^

  --Daryth Kennedy quiets down

[17:39] David Itamae: Wanted to ask are there going to be anymore openings for storytellers and other artisans in the Guild Hall as their seem to be some with a real talent that should be noted

[17:39] Onix Harbinger: Your floor David. ^.^

[17:39] Apollo Aridian: Daryth has the floor

[17:40] David Itamae: also I had a comment about HUD dispenser isn’t it specific per type of dragon If it is then you cant be rid of the councils unless it changes

[17:40] David Itamae: oh sorry

[17:42] Daryth Kennedy: The Guild Hall is a new group but hopefully we'll be seeing a lot more of it in action soon ^.^ There are four general guild roles: artisan, lorekeeper, storyteller/bard and guru, each one representing the various talents in the community, and each one represented by a Guildmaster seat on the new High Council. As the guilds become active, Guildmasters and community leaders will be in charge of awarding Guild positions like Storytellers and Lorekeepers :)

[17:43] David Itamae: very nice its just i see so much talent and i know it would give them a big boost to be recognized

[17:43] Orlando Sirbu: :)

[17:44] Apollo Aridian: Please try to keep to the format, I will indicate who has the floor :)

[17:44] Savio Spinotti: What does the guru role entail?

[17:44] Apollo Aridian: If you spot great talent amongst us, don't be afraid to note it to people in IM, or post on the forum

That will give us good reference when the time comes to expand the group

[17:45] David Itamae: oh I plan too and have spoken about a few already

[17:45] Savio Spinotti: (Sorry Apollo)

[17:45] Apollo Aridian: Guru is a technical role... anyone good with scripting and such....

[17:46] Savio Spinotti: OK

[17:46] Apollo Aridian lets Savio off... this time :)

  Okay

[17:46] Savio Spinotti: Thank you :D

[17:46] David Itamae: well with my question answered i give the floor back to the mayor

  Thanks, Apollo

[17:46] Apollo Aridian: thank you David :D

[17:46]----------------------------------------

[17:46] Apollo Aridian: I want to bring up the replacement HUD comment again

Currently I believe the HUD dispensers will only dispense if you are a member of the group that you want a HUD for

E.g. Council of Wyrmlings to get a Wyrmling HUD... am I right in thinking that?

  Skylarian and David both noted

Okay so just be aware of that when juggling your groups :)

I've also been told that in the future there are plans for a registered upgrade server to ease issues like this so it will be less of an issue in the future.

But something to keep in mind now. :D

We've had one more question.... I am going to take that one, and then I think we are done

[17:50] Orlando Sirbu: yay!

[17:50] Apollo Aridian: unless anyone thinks of anything very juicy :D

[17:51] Windchaser Rhode: lol, no

[17:51] Apollo Aridian: Dragyn Goodliffe has the floor

[17:51] Dragyn Goodliffe: Do you have any idea when/if updates to the older-style egg-hud dragons might be available? Been wanting to use the newer HUD for a long time :)

[17:51] Apollo Aridian: Dragyn, please repeat your question :D

[17:52] Ferocia Fackler gives a polite nod to the crowd

[17:52] Apollo Aridian: hehe lag on my part

[17:52] Helena Lycia: We are working on the next generate of AVs and HUDs

And upgrades will be made available to existing dragons, wyrmlings & hatchies

[17:53] Dragyn Goodliffe: I just wanted an update to my old dragon to use the current HUD.. Keep thinking I should just buy a whole 'nother copy of the dragon :(

[17:54] Khristen Lassard still uses her Steam Dragon HUD from last June...

[17:54] Dragyn Goodliffe: (Assuming ones currently sold work with the current HUD)

[17:54] Helena Lycia: Some of the new functionality appeared in the wyverns but it will be put into the other breeds in the near future

[17:54] Orlando Sirbu: I have a question!

[17:54] Daryth Kennedy: If you have a full size adult that doesn’t use the 2.5 HUD, IM me after the meeting or catch me online sometime for an update, we do have a current version for those.

[17:54] Helena Lycia: You won't have to buy a new dragon, there will be an upgrade path

[17:54] Dragyn Goodliffe: It just feels like a penalty I guess for early dragon purchasers.. But I will keep waiting :)

[17:54] Apollo Aridian: we're going to wrap up as soon as Daryth and Helena have answered this question

[17:55] Orlando Sirbu: ok...

[17:55] Dragyn Goodliffe: Thanks for answering

[17:55] Apollo Aridian: with the sim crashes, this has gone on loner than originally planned

[17:55] David Itamae: hehehe

[17:55] Orlando Sirbu: three hours.

[17:55] David Itamae: its ok. We care about the community.

[17:55] Savio Spinotti: I was held up by RL, so the delay worked in my favor :)

[17:55] Daryth Kennedy: :)

[17:55] Apollo Aridian: yes, a long time... the next one won't be so long

[17:55] David Itamae: its why I'm here

[17:55] Apollo Aridian: we had some good questions

[17:56] Khristen Lassard is using this meeting to avoid doing housework, so is fine with the length as well.

[17:56] Aradia Aridian: yes this was a great start

[17:56] David Itamae: LOL

[17:56] Aradia Aridian: hehe

[17:56] Daryth Kennedy: okay, Apollo has the floor for a moment to quickly wrap up

[17:56] Apollo Aridian: Yes

[17:56] Apollo Aridian: thank you all for your questions.

And for (largely) sticking to the format and behaving :)

[17:57] Onix Harbinger: Thank you all for a successful first town meeting. There will be more in the future ^.^

[17:57] Apollo Aridian: overall I enjoyed my first Town Hall and I want to thank all for attending

[17:57] Aradia Aridian: it was lovely. :)

[17:57] Apollo Aridian: the Elders and Guardians for their time and all of you for your time too

[17:57] Savio Spinotti: Yes, very informative :D

[17:57] Apollo Aridian: it was a pleasure :D

[17:57] David Itamae: Thank you everyone

[17:57] Orlando Sirbu claps

[17:57] Ryu Darragh: Thank *you*, Apollo.. and Onix, Daryth, et al.. :)

[17:57] Khristen Lassard chuckles softly and joins along with the applause.

[17:57] Apollo Aridian: would any of the panel like to say anything in closing?

[17:57] Daryth Kennedy: :)

[17:57] Apollo Aridian: if not then we are officially done

[17:58] Kalira Stromer: Thanks everyone for coming and being a part of our community growth :D

[17:58] Savio Spinotti: Today, the Isle ... tomorrow, the world :)

[17:58] David Itamae: Apollo read my pic description for IoW

[17:58] Windchaser Rhode: yay!

[17:58] Aradia Aridian: :)

[17:58] David Itamae: it wasn’t changed but my general feeling for a long time

[17:59] Apollo Aridian: Okay we are officially done here, I believe

[18:00] Onix Harbinger schneeks up to his office. ^.^

[18:00] Apollo Aridian: Town Hall adjourned
