And finally, I'd like to announce the intent of the Academy to introduce a third person to the staff.
The role of this person, will be somewhat like that of Adjutant, in a Military aspect. The duties would include, but not be limited to: ensuring that the Academy MOTD is up to date and properly maintained, ensuring that the LOA/AWOL policy is adhered to, wherein he would have the same powers as the Commandant and Vice Commandant, to remove AWOL Cadets as described in the appropriate Mandate, and to assist in the compiling of the Fleet section of the monthly report. Also among the duties will be reading of the Academy Fleet ships, to accommodate the aforementioned tasks.
The proposed name for this position is the Academy Fleet Liaison Officer, also to be referred to as AFLO.
I would like to invite comments and suggestions on this proposed idea. I will allow for two weeks of this, before we move to the next stage, ideally, applications.
