hey m8. I've been struggling to put in the hours since the New Year. Not burnout really, and not too many bad beats. My challenge was going ok. I don't know what happened. I just stopped wanting to play poker every day and found it harder to get my A game going when I was at the table.
January is the first month I failed to make any money playing poker since I quit my proper job. I've just been bumbling around playing micro stakes cash and the odd tournament to try and rediscover my love for the game whilst keeping my hand in
I'm going to Bolivia for 2 months at the start of March, to visit an old friend from University. I felt like I needed a bit of a break from the old routine. Had to use most of the money I made on my challenge to pay for the flight When I get back in mid-May, I'm gonna clear out my savings, gather up the biggest bankroll I can (probably about $5,000) and really go for it. If I lose the lot and have to get a proper job then so be it.
Anyway, I'm going on a bit. I spoke to dvd briefly on Stars last night, and he said you guys still hang out at the irc room sometimes. Will put in an appearance sometime soon
