I would like to study at your university because Teesside has a astonishing reputation thanks its world-renowned Animex festival and positive student feedback. The fact that so many professionals come to the Animex festival shows that the quality of your teaching. Moreover I have been able to speak with some of your students, and they all are glad of what they learn.
I am interesting in your animation and visual effects course because I like everything which deals with animation and more particularly CGI animated feature films and Japanese Animation.
At the moment I am finishing to do a DUT in computer science at the University of Lyon 1 (France).
Theses courses allowed me to discover several fields of computer science like programmation, analysis, network,...
What I prefer is programming, but I prefer having a visual result, that's why I do not want to be "just" a programmor.
Some of your students sent me some subjects of practicals he did when he was in second year : and it's exactly what I want to do !
Moreover I really want to improve my english, because I want to travel and without a good english it's impossible, and to work in computer science it's very useful because all the documentation are in english.
I had never thought about stuying in an english country before a teacher of teesside came to do a course in my university last year. I thought it was too hard for me to understand a course in english, but in fact I realized that I was able to understand about everything he said.
So I think I will be able to follow courses in english, and for the moment I usually go on english speaking chatrooms on the internet to improve my english, I read several articles which deals with computers to learn vocabulary and I also watch movies in english.
And for the moment I study in Quebec and even if the official tongue is french, english is very present.
After my Bsc I would like to go on my studies, maybe doing a master and then I would like to work for an Animation Studio.
When I do not work I enjoy listening music, doing sport : I do table tennis competitions for ten years, I also play badminton but just for the fun.
