- Display: Dell 1907FP (LCD)
- PC: Dell Optiplex GX150
- Problem: Cannot use 1280 x 1024 resolution (native resolution for this screen), vertical lines appear on screen.
- I'm using gns v1.1, and when I boot into the Live CD, it sets the display resolution to 1280 x 1024 @ 75 hz, which should work fine, except it doesn't. 10 vertical lines appear onscreen and won't go away until I change to resolution to 1024x768 @ any refresh rate. This also happens when gNewSense is installed on the computer.
- It is not the screen because I have had it running at 1280x1024 just fine under windows.
- Video card is built in. lspci detects it as: "0000:00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation 82815 CGC [Chipset Graphics Controller] (rev 02)
- The gNewSense LiveCD detects my display settings to be 1280x1024 @ 75 hz, but they should be 1280 x 1024 @ 60hz
- This is very odd because I have had windows running on exactly the same machine at the LCDs native resolution of [email protected]
- Intel's website claims that this graphic card can output [email protected]
- How can I fix this?
