Hi everyone.  I have an issue where mysqldump is truncating varchar and text fields where it encounters any non-latin1 unicode characters. For instance, 'Tiesto' is truncated to 'Ti'.  The database is 5.0.22-Debian_0ubuntu6.06.2-log and the database is in latin1. (I'm trying to convert it to utf-8).  The dump command was mysqldump -hlocalhost -uroot -p -e -C -q -l --default-character-set=latin1 dbname > dbname-dump-latin1.sql.  Anyone know why this
