I have done the install accoring to this howto: http://gentoo-wiki.com/HOWTO_Gentoo_Install_on_Software_RAID - everything went great no errors. i compiled my kernel with genkernel and rebooted, thinking it was a perfect install, i got this error:

!! Could not mount specified ROOT, try again

Please specify a device to boot, or "shell" for a shell...

so i recompiled my kernel manual way, and still the new server wont boot up, the tech guy forgot to give me the error so i am just checking my steps now,
