Ok guys, just wanted to discuss here, as everyone will be able to know what the project's main priorities are at the moment. I know that with the release of the new chronicle, has gotten us excited and wanting to implement new features (i know cause it got me starting on olympiad system lol), but anyways we need to shift our priorites from adding new features to fixing the current bugs on the l2j project. So basically what am saying is that if all can please pause on adding new features (meaning no committing of new features), and focus on fixing the current bugs on the server, then that will be great. We dont want to start adding new bugs to the current onces we have atm, lets fix the old bugs and get it over with.
The current bugs on the server we all know of at the moment, but the main onces are listed below:
- AI
- Duping items
- Pets
- Subclass/Seven Signs
These are a few that i have listed. So if anyone would like to pick an area of known bugs to fix, please do. As we need to get all this done and sorted with asap, because we all know we want to add new features to Tongue. So the faster we get all this bugs over and done with, the quicker we start adding new features.
Also one thing, Please guys TEST YOUR CODES BEFORE COMMITTING!!!!. This is the main cause of the current bugs on the server, so please test your codes before committing.
As from tomorrow (Saturday, 18th), not being harsh but any new features committed will be reverted till the known bugs on the project are fixed, so please lets work together as a team and get this project rocking again Smile
Also i will be giving some guys some areas to work on and looking for volunteers to help them on those areas or choose an area to work on....
At the moment, the following guys are working on this areas :
- AI = zabbix
- Duping items = Advi
- Subclass/Seven Signs = ???
- Siege fixes = yellowperil
- Pets = sarevok_
